Hello gentlemen got a question for our neighbors to the north, how hard is it for someone to theoretically get some beans to a friend up in the great white north???
I only buy in-border these days, just seemed safer.

Around six years ago, I made probably around 10 buys from European suppliers. I received all but one.

The other order was seized by the border folks. Around 107 days(this is significant) after the seizure, I got a letter saying they had seized "presumed cannabis seeds". If I wished to contest the seizure, I had to do it within 100 days of the event. The fact the letter wasn't sent until the 100 day window had passed meant to me that they didn't even want to deal with it. It was a minor deal and they were already forgetting about it.
I never heard another word, and the seedbank had already replaced my order by then. :)
Of course this was before legal rec. use up here.

I would be more concerned about your side of the border, as I don't know how your laws work.
If they find 'em on our side, they'll likely be destroyed and a letter sent to the recipient, and that's it.

I'm just worried about it getting snatched by the fuzz lol so are foil packs a no no inside the card, how stringent are the mail searches goin across?? I need to send 2 10 packs was gonna mac Gruver some folded cereal box and scotch tape it to the card ???
The coin flips are key. It's a thickness thing, you can send the original foil pack in the card too. On a 5x7 card I can put up to 6 flips... These "letters" get no scrutiny at all. Everything I have mailed to outside of the US has arrived, it's a good method.
I have heard that a rosin sheet or two will fit in there also ;)

The coin flips work the best. Or the straw method. But I did send a bubble mailer to a friend of ours up there. Had to declare item and fill out international paperwork. I said it was fingerboard and bearings. Got there no problems but took like 3 weeks.

That is why you put the cotton in the coin flips !

:)

the great thing about the flips is 3 fit in these goofy cards i got...1.30 to mail it to the USA and no declarations.

2 have been grabbed by customs out of 10 or so..i just sent them again.

Inbound i have never had a pack of seeds not make it. They are legal here eh. Crop King seeds may suck but his court challenge made pot seeds legal.

Has anyone sent cuts over the border ? Or received them ? Just curious if that worked out. I have a local source on some great gear i will be getting cuts of but what if i make something outstanding and want to share...you know??

Seeds, I got no problem sending or receiving.
Cuts makes me nervous, just thinking about it.

I have never had an issue with cross border seeds. USA or Spain.
Never inspected. Always delivered.

Tissue culture.
This is one area where cannabis cultivation is way behind.
Aquarium plant wholesalers have been shipping tissue culture around for decades.

tissue culture is the way. @SCJedi and his research showed me. You can have a tiny little bit in a mom library and take up no room.

I just put them in standard manilla envelope with USPS customs form and had no issues. Usually cost $13 usd and has tracking number.

I send full packs no issues. Or for cheaper method no breeder packs I use corrugated plastic and a greetings card. Lost a few that way but never with manilla envelope.

I looked in to sending cuts up north. Shipping was pricey but cheap if the strain is worth it.

I think it was around $80-$100 usd, can't remember exactly.

Edit: thats for overnight/2nd day air.
