Probly the closest I have ever been to a fox was today.
Couple a few years ago, we happened to park our camper where we could see a fox den.
I empressed upon my daughters, how lucky we were to be able to spend hours watching them. As many times as I have seen them in my life, it is always fleeting glimpses, like passing by in a car or watching them disappear behind a hay bale or into a draw.
The only place to find a Swift Fox in Canada, is just down the road from here. I really need to make some time to get out there.
Anywho, this red fella,,,
Seemed immediately apparent to me that there was something in that tree.

I am no Fox Whisperer , even so, that is not the first time I have seen somebody lick their chops.

Difficult to venture a guess. There are no squirrels in this town. I don't know if a bird would really get his attention. Too high up for gophers or your average cottontail.
Maybe a porcupine, I have seen those Daft bastards pretty high up.
No higher than Jewels , mind you. Really dig this Watermelon Icecream.
As is such,
I went back on Google street view, and I realized it was not an Elm or Cottonwood. I think this is an Ash tree.
