Cracking Cold Cases

Not an episode of Dateline but there will be lots of cold seed cases being cracked and popped in here.
Time and place feels right to get a journal going in here. I’ve never had a journal anywhere before so im sure it’ll be some random stuff here and there.
I’ve learnt about everything from the forums and internet as I didn’t know any growers personally. I was tired of meeting up and waiting on people. I wasn’t interested in meeting new connects, I knew I could do it better and it was time for a change.
I placed that first order with Nirvana, then an order at Herbies not too long after that...That was close to a decade ago, my does time fly. I’m still running a White Widow from that first order at Herbies. I’ll save it for another post.
It’s always great when friends of friends from legal states are blown away after puffing on something you’ve grown. It’s great to see the pics of the month every month here and all the great work being put in everyday. So much talent in one place is exciting. I really enjoy making pH part of my day. I’m thankful to the mods for all the hard work they have put in to make this such a great community!
Im hopeful to get ahold of some of the fire you guys are working with and maybe cross them up some more! Well I tried to make it short, ha. Thanks for having me.

No idea where to begin so how about the middle.
Yesterday a Bad Dawg Motor City Fighter got the chop. Really great growth and looks on this one. I plucked off several ripe nanners in early flower and killed off the clone as well but it turned out to be a great looker with no more problems. A little hint of diesel on the squeeze but not much. I’ve got 4 more in the pack I believe.


Today I chopped a Strayfox Iraqi Bubba and the first of 5 Johnny D x Strawberry Milk Bodhi testers. This tester was the quickest finisher and probably the biggest yielder(that doesn’t happen too often). This pheno reminds me a lot of the Ha og x ssdd in structure and smell. Shucked out some beans the past week or so. This should give me something more to hunt through, throughout the winter. I had been looking to pickup a Headband strain lately, then I received an Alphakronik Force Body(707 headband x Stephen hawking kush cbd) Freebie 3-pack with my Useful box of chocolates order not too long ago. They ended up being all males so I used it in a couple crosses.
The white widow is from Herbies as mentioned in the opening. It’s Female Seeds Ww x big bud. This pheno is all stinky, sticky widow indica funk that I would like to get tested sometime. It’s the goto for migraines and will put you back to bed if you try to wake and bake with it. All the other phenos I had and have seen on forums are this big yielding bland citrus tasting bud that must be BigBud dominate. Feels like I hit the lotto with this one, surprised I’ve kept it around this whole time. Anyway Im definitely interested in what the Widow x Force Body cbd will bring out as well.

Happy Friday, hope all is well wherever you dwell. Heres a few shots of some of the next round of flower.
Wonderland (Williams wonder x Sleeping Iraqi) by Strayfox number 7 and 8 finally getting a spot in flower. Already over 6 ft tall so had to super crop and tie a few branches back toward the wall. I’m liking the exotic looks of the leaves on the one on the left. Heres a Bodhi Field Trip, Bad Dawg Tres Star Dawg x Cakefighter and one of my chucks Space Monkey x Fofana getting their start in a different room.

Usually see a few random pages on weather people throw out their runts or let them do their thing. This Fofana x space monkey is in early flower and super frosty smelling sweeter than my space monkey keeper I’ve had for years.
It was in a solo cup for over 6 months in veg. It just wouldn’t grow. I flowered out almost 20 females in 2 different rounds. Picked my keepers #4 & 10 and this thing was still looking like a baby. I thought it’d be a weak male but nope, so far I’m glad I let her do her thing!

Here’s #1,2,3 and #4 was a male.
I’m getting mostly chocolate diesel on the nose on these. Nice looking structure, slight foxtailing, eager to burn one.

Another chuck, this pheno came with smaller but frosty buds. Smells and tastes of creamy vanilla milkshake with a slight hint of berry. I had a few come out strong of sour diesel so far but this is my favorite.
