Going to see what she is about. Cut a bud off this morning. Been on dehydrater for about a hour. It's around 100 degrees. Kinda changed to a cucumber smell. Guessing that's the green smell of it. Figured I'd stop when it gets crispy on the outside and has stopped shrinking and let it rehydrate a little in a jar and smoke it up tonight. There was a small piece that broke off the bud and it is very crispy feeling but a tad bit of moisture in middle. Figure I can let it sit and even out to be close enough. The lighter wont lie lol

De leafed a bit and ran out dehue pump line so I wont have to worry about flooding while I keep lights off. Deffinetly a good high a bit speedy but a insane amount of munchies awhile after smoking. I got up a hour or so after falling asleep last night and pounded down some pb and js lol. Dont do that to much especially it was my youngests one year yesterday and I ate a shit ton of cake and ice cream. The taste is ok but I'm sure quick dry is detrimental to its taste. I have a bud I've been actually drying and it smells much better. The stem on the bud I smoked didnt snap but it splintered a little. Taste wasnt harsh on green and 2nd hit but 3rd hit was a little harsh. So just clear it in 2 hits right lol. Thrown all clippings that have trichs in brown paper bags. Figure just toss with hand in morning and evening keeping in bedroom where it is cool and dryish.

Picture does not do it justice lol. Looks tiny in picture. The smell was nuts yesterday doing this. I sat in room and did it. Wife said as soon as she walked out the door she could smell it. Then buddy pulled up and said he could smell it....woops... lol good thing I live in bfe haha. The smell was down this morning, Outside anyway. Wish i held a reference up for pic. The top bud on it had some weight to it.

Also jars and hygrometers came in. Menards has been sold out....

There is fairly universal time frame to do the dry and cure but a million ways to get from A to B.

Ya I threw some buds on dehydrater and wow do they shrink lol. I have been reading a bit on drying and curing. I feel ok comfortable with it. Hoping get them in jars on a weekend so I can watch them for the first day or 2. My luck be before work and then leave for 10 hours....could be bad lol

Buds in jars both holding 57% burp in morn and at 7 at night, smell is much better then the hay...lol, told my wife we will just use the dehydrater for jerky, worth the wait. Did get bubble bags in and trim has been dry for a few days. There wasnt much and taught me a lesson save that shit and do it once a year. Not even sure if 2nd running it was worth it either. Looks like ass compared to 1st run. 1st run I failed on scooping and placing but picked my game up a little in 2nd run. It was a half a paper lunch bag of trimmings.

Top left was 1st run 25 bag, the one slightly lower to the right was 2nd run 25. Bottom right is 1st and 2nd run first 2 trash bags. I will cut down bags next time aswell just wanted to see if I was over working it. Seems like the spoon and hand method is sure fire. The best looking is middle far right looks like stone and is all sparkly lol. It was 90 bag 1st run.

Just a thought @Fr3nzy but with that humidity that low in the jar i would not burp it twice a day if at all. Best to keep it between 60-65% RH in the jar imo. See if it will go into the low 60's with the jar not opened for a couple of days. Hash is looking good!

60-65% is defiantly your target range in the jar. Try and see if you can get it up some by not opening the jars for a few days. If the humidity does not climb to the right target leave the lid on as much as possible. Every time you open that jar you are expelling humidity so you don't want it any lower than it is. These numbers i speak of are target numbers you just try and get as close as possible your buds will be fine. I printed out a nice chart on drying numbers that i got from the site Growweedeasy.com years a go and still have it up on the wall.

So, I like 55% in the jars actually, largely because I find it burns better for the cones I like to roll ... i use the Integra Boost 55% humidity packs. I also don't burp at all after jarring unless the buds are sticking together too much.

Not saying these other fine gentlemen are wrong at all, just that everyone kind of ends up with their own method after a few grows. I did exactly what they suggest for years and it was great for bongs and pipes but my joints never burned as well as I wanted, and thats far and away my preferred method of consumption

Thanks for the input, my humidity raises when I open my jars. Good ol midwest no central air, its was 89 yesterday in house 69% rh lol. We got ac in bed room of course lol.

Thats why I started keeping mine drier... I rarely have the presence of mind to pull buds out ahead of time haha

My lungs could definitely use a break haha, but I just don't find vaping satisfying

Took me a few weeks of experimenting with the vaping before i started to really enjoy it. While there is a little difference in the combustion methods vaping has a lot more variables. The less heat when when the vapor reaches your mouth the better( that is a difficult task). Desktop vaporizers work best IMO.

I'm just now figuring out the right way to dab lol. Recently got a ok rig with a domed quartz banger and beads. Used to dab hot as fuck....
