Bowl of Grapesmac. @Rosinallday gonna be a legend round here when my people get a taste of this. The really stinky one is still hanging.
Had a spell today and had to take a nap, didn’t get much done round here. Should stay up tonight and trim but feel my body may be telling me to take it a little slower. So much I need to do. This Grapesmac sure make me feel good though, in the clouds.

What idiot has plant outside already? I do. Look good too. Hopefully I can find them a spot in the ground but some will probably be grown in pots. Ground is a bit cold yet I think, this area is really wet, don’t have to water the pot wicks water from the ground

Our dog might just get her chance if they don't keep a good eye on her. There are some small critters that have trails through the bush, one leads right to The Hole. The Hole is dug into my dirt pile. That dirt has to be moved really soon. Pretty sure the skunk is still there, feel bad but it has to go anyway, it just picked a bad spot, easy come easy go. It dug there because it was looser than everywhere else and drier.
The neighbor has a junkyard or maybe dump is a better descriptor, too bad he has big dogs too. Otherwise, that skunk would probably be living among the trash.
Seeing rabbits constantly, has me worried. They love the bark of the cannabis plant. They don't do well when they chew all the way round. I've actually had them chew them until they tip over, then they feast on the leaves. Course last year was the same, except there were baby rabbits all over too. I'm sure soon there will be. Didn't have rabbits bother them with bars of soap in the pots.
Deet 100 was no match for the black flies in the back. Ran one tank of fuel in the Jonsered before I was ready to lose my mind. Have a pretty good tangle of small trees, brush and stumps to clean up. That skunk has the right idea, I bet down in that hole there's not many black flies.

Hey I am very close to putting stuff outside myself. An older lady I was talking to said after mothers day is the rule around here to be safe. I'm at 45N not sure where your at.
But I'm am itching to harden and get stuff outside

You're slaying it over here dude. Those Grapesmac buds look great, and you have a lovely place too. Don't forget to take it easy...work 10, break 20, hour break every 2 hrs. Don't start before 10 and don't carry on after 3.

For whatever it's worth bro, I hear and read all the time how plants don't like it cold, and that you have to wait until whenever to put anything outside in the Mitten, but, EVERY year, I have little seedlings that pop up on their own, and are going good until I yank them out and toss them before I would even think to put anything out there.
I wait until this Month generally, but I really doubt I have to. I mean, if you think about it, most of the Indica genetics in the plants we have, came from Afghan genetics, where they have areas with natural Indicas, that see nothing but Snow.
I still have all mine in my tent for now, just in case that one last cold front moves in, but I'm not as worried about it these days. I don't think I've ever grown without my plants being hit my snow and even freezing rain. Bud rot is the bigger issue in my opinion. The cold seems to only effect certain plants, and I've been watching for a few years as they go through snow, freezing rain, and wind storms, and the wind seems to do a lot more damage LOL.
I'd say that plant will be OK, even though you are a bit north from me.

I always used to wait until end of May but that was when we'd have snow on the ground well into April. Most years the frost isn't out of the ground until mid to late April. There was no frost in the ground this year. Maybe froze a few inches down but for the most part the ground was soft all winter.
This is the 3rd spring in a row that I've started putting plants out the first week of May. Last 2 we did have a frost around the full moon in May but you'd never know by looking at the plants. They're pretty hardy little buggers.
There's actually 6 out already but yeah, not worried at all. I do wait until they're at least 5 nodes high and getting nice and woody before I put them out. The one that are outside are a good month old already. I think some fresh seedlings might not fare too well.

Ole grapesmac becoming legendary around here.. @Rosinallday nailed it with that cross...I'm very happy to have it around..And love growing it..Smoking it is a lil rough on a personal lvl.. Wipes me out!
