That’s it!!! It’s official....my next grow will be your Blackberry Bread. As we discussed earlier the plan is to make BBB F2’s, phenohunt through those, and cross that special lady with my Cheese Bread F4. I’ll keep you updated when it’s active about 6 weeks from now.

I collect keepers and have had a few that i planned on hitting them when the time was right. I pop alot of beans lol . Luck is always involved too man that's for sure. The male was found in a pack of regs from Jordan of the islands. And after much thought and light stress tasting I chose him to pollenate. But the bottom line is for me I look for special plants and if they are good enough they stick around. If they are reallyexceptional then I start thinking about breeding with them.

3 of the BBSC in 1 gal a couple days after being up-potted. Doing well despite cool temps. I'll be flipping these once I'm confident the roots are behaving. Next 1-2 weeks is the plan.
The other BBSC, duckfoot pheno, I put in a half gal. It's a very compact, stout plant. Gonna leave it in the half gal and throw it in the flower tent soon.

I clone everything right before flip. That way if a desirable trait shows up in flower, I have it saved. If none of them are worth more than some smoke (not the pheno I’m looking for). I kill em and don’t waste my time. If it’s something special I will keep cloning it and adding the one plant to my grow (or just keep a mother vegging if it’s really special.) until something better comes along in the hunt or I find the right male to mate with it. I’m sure we all have our own systems of operation. I KNOW it’s a lot of work and give mad respect to what you’ve achieved.

Ty I appreciate that . Bottom line is if u are doing what u love and doing it well ... U are doing it right. I started crossing back in the day because seeds were so dam expensive. And now I am making stuff that I want which is heavy ass indicas that put u down .I have always smoked for relaxation and pain .

Almost all my genetics for my original strains I created and stabilized are heavy indicas for EXACTLY the same reason. The only reason I incorporated Lambs Bread that I actually acquired in Negril Jamaica from a outside grow (I was specific about this) is because those plants are resistant to ANYTHING and they impart that and vigor that stays up until F4 (IBL). Think about everything those plants endure up in the mountains of Jamaica. I was taught to breed like your building a race car if that makes sense. But regardless I think we’ll both be happy with the results.✌?
