Very cool reward for naming a strain. Especially cool when you didn't even realize you had done that lol
I really appreciate the package. I know what I'm popping when I start back up in September. ?

Ya Don Johnson gets the funk from both parents. But yeah other than that cross ,any garlic, burnt peanuts, rubber etc is coming from Dad . Same w the dark super sharp serrations. Pigs had the biggest variety of profiles. The range was wide . That was a big reason I am working them . so fun to hunt too. Hope you get a banger brother. ?I feel like that’s what my #1 pheno would’ve been, without the funky reveg/flower situation she went through.
She’s taller, lighter colored, with the Chem D / GMO /etc smells.
My #2 sister is opposite in almost every regard, beside those dominant-ass Chem D smells.
#2 is shorter, darker, purple / black fade, and has an added cedar / sandalwood funk on top. She also stacks harder, dong style, as pictured previously.
#1 would’ve stacked better without the funky reveg stuff, but #2 went through the same cycles, and still stacked better.
On another note- Watermelon Delight #1 & 2 both had the Chem D dominant smells too, but #2 seems to have the cedar/ sandalwood thing going on too.
She was also the shorter, more stacked pheno.
Both of each DJ and WD I grew had the garlic / mothballs thing going on while flowering, with differences mentioned above, so I’m wondering if they’re all Pure Michigan dominant, with the woody ones being a throwback to something slightly more recessive, farther up the line? Maybe the -Breath part? I’ve had some savory spicy stacky cookie stuff pop up pretty common.
My Pillow Books from Bodhi also throw off a garlic / cedar funk, along with the blackberry...yet Chem D and Blackberry are grandparents (at least) in the lineage.
Just some anecdotal observations of commonalities in distantly related strains.
It’s interesting comparing the results of different expressions that come out of relative (or not so closely related) seeds, and I’m looking forward to the results of all the Pigs stuff.
I might even put some of each outside, just to see how they do for the future.
