Goober’s Growery

Hey guys, I’m new here. Just found this forum today. I’m on Overgrow under a different name but I’ve been growing for almost half of my life. Right now I’m growing some Godfather OG and Dragons Blood Hashplant. IMG_1896.jpeg

I’ve had my hand at breeding before years ago. Me and my brother bred a really killer Mexican sativa to a random unknown indica and made a strain we called “Sweet Creek”. He grew some old seed stock out recently and gave me some seeds of it as well since I lost mine. Here’s an example of it

I only have 4 seeds of it so after this pheno hunt of the DBHP I’ll be open pollinating and hunting through the f2’s of the Sweet Creek to find the “limeade” pheno. We lost it a few years back unfortunately. Anyway, this is gonna be a shit show and a half so I hope you enjoy :)

I pulled a couple limbs and fans off the clone to clean it up a bit yesterday and it bounced back over night.

And we have 4 seedlings rising like zombies out of their graves lol. Still waiting on the other 3

That cup of water in the middle is dechlorinating right now. I always leave a cup out for a couple days and then use it to water the GFOG and then fill it back up for next time.

I took 3 cuts of the GFOG today. First time cloning something believe it or not lol. I bought some Root Riot plugs from Amazon and I’ve had a bottle of clonex for like a year now unopened. I went to Walmart yesterday and got a seed starter tray but it didn’t come with a dome so I got creative.

The tubs I use to grow mushrooms are modified with 3M Micropore tape. It’s basically tape with microscopic holes in it that only allow air flow and filters out spores and whatnot. So I took the cuts, cut them at a 45 degree angle, soaked them in the Clonex and popped them in the root riot plugs. Then I placed the tray into the tub and misted the hell out of it.

Been slacking on the updates over here lol

I culled 2 of the DBHP because 1 was a runt and the other was a mutant that I didn’t like the look of. The GFOG is doing great. I’ll be transplanting the DBHP into 3 gallon pots today

Some crackhead stole my DeWalt drill so I had to break out the 20+ year old Snap On and a paddle bit to drill holes into the bottom of the pots. I used to work at a local grocery chain years ago and the flower department would give me the pots for free but they don’t have drainage holes.
