Grove bags

I was going to purchase a 10 pack of 1/4 pound Grove bags, but they wanted $18 to send me 10 bags. How much can it cost to throw 10 bags in a padded envelope? Any thoughts?
Edit; the price for10 bags was only $25, I really want them but I feel cheated. If they must, then charge more, but don't give me shipping that's nearly the price of my order

great alt is dry and mighty bags, the XL holds 1 to 1 1/2 lb’s

when I get their 100 packs it was under 2 bucks each including shipping, I was gonnea trial them vs dry and mighty at one time (grove) buy their price and looking at em in person they aren’t any diff besides the raped price. No diss just a observation

thickness and quality I saw no differance in grove vs dry and mighty, big thing also that got me to use dry and mighty is to use boveda/boost cells and buy the biggest version for bags/5 gal buckets (70 gram)

the bag itself + humidity pack = still cheaper than grove bag? Just saying

I don't need huge quantities, and they would cost me about $6 each for 5, 4ounce bags. I will DIY this. I picked up 60, 7"x10" with oxy absorbers for $20, or 34 cents each. I will play with these and see if it will work for me. I won't vacuum seal them until I,ve got it dialed in. So now I gave myself another project. That's how it goes when you have more time than money!!

I think I won! The bags mentioned above with oxygen absorbers work great. 1 week dry and then into the bag, 40 days later and it smells looks and feels perfect, plus I get a great nose when the bag is opened {2 x the normal aroma}. Fuckers can't hold us back, when things get stupid, improvise!!!

Father in law ordered like 50 or so of the 1 pound bags last season, and a first I was against using them because I feel like a properly cured jar is the win there......and then I tossed some Blue Cheese in one and it got really wet (I didn't dry it enough so, my fault there) so at first I refused....Then the Wife pointed out that we are NOT going o have room for the 60 jars I had of Weed LOL.... So, I grabbed everything we had except Chem D and Blue Cheese and put them in bags once they were dry enough, and I must say the results were good enough that I'll probably use them this year too. I did end up using ONE bag for Blue Cheese after it was dry, and it did hold up well. But yeah if you find a way around that price, it's worth it, because these bags are kinda pricey at the end of the day.

I jumped into Grove bags on a recommendation from the local grow store earlier this year. Pretty happy with them, much better outcome than other methods I've seen. Yeah they're pricey, but from what I was told I should be able to reuse them at least a few times. Not sure what would be the limiting factor on that, but I don't know much about how they work. I've had stuff in them for months and still wound up with a very good aroma and experience.

Anyone have recommendations for true long-term storage, like a year or two? I can picture having some around for quite awhile and then processing it into FECO when the time comes. And I know FECO can last for a long, long time and still have plenty of punch.

For longterm oh these bags is to heat seal the bag, keep in storage where it’s optimal 60f or under and dark.

Ive had bags that were old and they smelled great when opened if the heat sealing was done before the crop degrades. Also get as much air as u can without damage out of bags , what i do is fill the bags to 95% full+

I recently ordered some from HTGSupply, though some sizes are out of stock.
Free shipping if order is over $50.
But it can take 'em a few days to process orders.

I also used and compared dry and mighty bags, very similiar and cheaper. I just use my extra cash on a 60 gram boveda/boost humdity cell

they sell it cheaper/bulk va 100 pack but not everyone wants /needs that or even smaller sizes (I use the 1lb ish bag )

I’ve tried both boveda and boost and for me I like boost way more of shelf life of how long they last, it’s obvious boveda isn’t using same thing or method.

I'm going to order a single Grove 2 pounder from Amazon and see how it goes. Been wanting to try them anyway and it looks like my jars will not be enough this year, big year :D but with just one of these I think I can get by although I may have to get 2 of them or an additional 1 lb. Groves website is a complete pia I thought, and I guess they haven't heard about USPS so the Zon is the way to go for now.

If they work well, great, if not jars work fine for me I use dark glass all I can or if clear then box it or cover it. I was just looking over what remains of last years harvest and it's all in great shape for smell, and potency, with only a slight change in color and not a change that looks bad or unappealing.

If you get 2 two lb bags from Amazon you'd be out $29 and you got just 2 bags............

If you ordered the same 2 bags from HTG supply it's $11.30. They will ship for $5.
If you bring your order up to $50, shipping would be free.

Do the math! :)

I use the Boost, too, and agree that they are longer lasting than Boveda. I have some a year and a half old and are good as new.
Boveda always seems to crust up.

Groves are THE SHIT !

i use my mason jars for pickles now.

No boost....hang to chop....trim and smoke test and after the bake ...trim more....and then its dry enough for a grove.

Lock em in the grove.... if you have a ton... vac seal the qp bags.

I opened a BDG bag that was sealed for 40 days...and the aroma beat any mason jar i ever burped.

I would not put them in the grove damp....but if you put them in like you would for a jar they are ok....

If you grow enough you do not lose from damp weed...you know better...so its hard to gauge.

And I find if you can smoke a doob of the stuff...it will grove... And i can get a damp doobie ripping....Roll her fat...roll her loose and kindle that heater... WHAM....stoned as fuck and it all tastes like hash to me.

You will love them...just get a bunch. They beat mason jars...and they never break.
You can always order from grove direct too...they even sell variety packs of various logos and shit (who cares :D)
