Cheaper..how so? I grow my own, have a nice Rosin Press and have loads of supply to press. I can prepare and press 14 grams of flower in less than 5 minutes

Cause an oz of it is less than 200 dollars. I put 1.5 grams into a batch, and have made my money back right there. I have also saved an immense amount of time of having to go through all that process. I have all the flowers I had at the beginning of the day to smoke. Distillate has 0 taste, and requires almost 0 oil to emulsify, I just add a little for the MCT benefits.

to me it is the best product use, but everybody’s mileage may vary.

The Ardent is very nice you can decarb and infuse a zip at a time. @OldG 's mix ( 1 once of buds or trim) makes me 75 of those cannabis shaped gummies with a pancake left over

I also like the decarb A (THC) Decarb B (CBD) Infuse and Bake options. Each specific to the task in temp and time and cool down cycle.

The nova is really a game changer...the FX is a Cadillac.

I highly recomend it. The other fantastic part is it sits on a base...so you can clean it out with soap and water...WAY easier.

two days ago i put 120 grams into 3 cups of coconut oil...made a batch of gummies and then put the rest of the oil (2 cups) back into the ardent with 90 grams of decarbed buds and sugar leafs (kief and whatever). That just finished. I will strain it out but the 2 gummies from that batch BEFORE the addition are rocking me pretty good...and i usually eat 5 so this batch is going to be pretty INTENSE....Wonder how a tablespoon would work.

You can decarb on a cookie sheet. You will never be as accurate as this purpose driven machine. Get it you wont be sorry.

Hey @OldG what method are you currently using to squeeze the oil out of the infused buds? I am still using that potato smasher thing with the flower in a fine mesh net (paint strainer net) and i still struggle squeezing the oil out. I still do your original mix and it is more than enough for myself. If i want a 1/4 cup of infused oil i need to add a 1/2 cup during infusion. I know i am fairly week but i have even tried putting a clamp on that potato smasher handle trying to get more out. Maybe the above is normal just not sure.

When I used to decarb flower..that's what I used..a potato masher.
I was stunned at the difference that the Ardent Nova made in decarbed product. The difference was very evident the 1st run. It's amazing that there haven't been more products like this, considering the prices that they get for store bought edibles.

I have a magical butter machine and it came with a bag (25 micron bag like a reinforced 1 gallon bubble bag). Then i twist it and squeeze it until the remains of the buds look like a concrete ball.

I looked around (Northern Nevada), and no one sells distillates here. I did find something called Isolates. but it was like $50 a gram. I am looking into making it myself, but the equipment is pricey. Your thoughts plz?

Waste of time to distill it myself, I prefer smoking flower, so I save all my buds for that.

like I said, it’s less than 200 an oz on the markets nowadays (not in stores lol) and I make my money back with a single batch that is about 7-8% of my entire purchase. I value my time and do not wish to do this any differently. Cannahome ismy favorite market to use. T2D in 2-3 days.

whatni love too is sitting on crypto, and having it go up enough to only actually spend like 100 bucks on the oz.

in canada 2kg of jello is 15 dollars. 4.4 pounds so i got 1 each of orange cherry and grape.

The orange works if you do not use lecithin...that is off-putting with the citrus flavors and i always thought it was the weed coming through but its a weird bitter reaction from the lecithin with that jellow orange lime or lemon flavoring.

I used 2 tsp in that batch..they are sour patch kids sour but taste so good i have to take them out of the bag and put the bag away...STINGERS..

The red ones...yeah red was a good colour...1 hour till they hit peak its time to clean the pool....i think i will swim and eat tomato sandwhiches all day....the garden shall provide.

I loved playing with the recipe over and over...my best bud since grade school is coming over...he even eats the oil fell right out of suspension ones. i just save them for him. Today he gets a sack of perfection...no duds for a month.

And I dont think you would want them much stronger than the red ones. I think they are 125 to 150 mg of thc each..maybe a wee bit hotter. After i infused the oil i added the kief and lecithin so its rocking hard...

These are for personal use only...my 30 year old would have to cut it in 10 or something stupid. 2 is nice the other pair was because i usually smoke 2 doobs BEFORE i smoke 2 doobs.

I think i know what i am doing later.

Last month i made 550 gummies. but to master something you must do it thousands of times grasshopper.

This is the best gummy recipe. Works for me.
Always use real J E L L O.
Grape/Berry/Cherry/Raspberry mask the taste the best.
If you use silicone molds you do not have to spray them. If you use ice cube trays spray with non stick spray (for cooking).

Best Flavor Gummies
Ingredients
2 packs jello
2 packs gelatin powder (or 2 Tablespoons of bulk)
1/4 cup infused Coconut oil. (decarbbed bud infused into coconut oil is the best taste)
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon vinegar.
1 tsp lethicin. I use organic sunflower lethicin.

Put the oil in a pan on the stove and add the lethicin and mix until its mixed (use a whisk).
Add the water and vinegar and bring to a boil.
Add the flavorless gelatin and mix
add the 2 packs of jello and mix
bring to a boil....boil on medium heat for 3 minutes....stir often....a silicone spatula works the best here.
Then put the burner on lowest setting. If the mixture stiffens up too much because you are slow making them....then put it back on the burner and let it warm up. it will go back to liquid.

Then fill your molds with that. I use a dropper but watch its hot...a spoon is easier to prevent burns.

I make 60 gummies per batch...each of them containing 1 ml of oil...then dose the oil accordingly.

Use sativa infused oil for keeping awake....a couple of indica gummies before bed and you sleep through the night.

A batch will usually set enough to pop out of the molds in about 1 hour. Put them on a plate to really dry out...put in a clearly labelled container (MEDICINE POISON WHATEVER MAKES KIDS NOT WANT TO EAT THEM). etc. put in fridge. You can freeze them too if its easier to keep them out of wee ones hands.
