If you're using an Android phone reassign the shutter to the volume button. Not a perfect solution but does make it easier than a screen tap.
If you're using iPhone don't know what to tell you.

The problem is that I have to set the phone down to even have any shot. The rheostat for the focus/magnifier is super tight and almost requires 2 fingers to adjust. I then am forced to use the shutter on the scope because any movement is all over the place at 100x or better. On top of that I am trying to hold whatever branch steady. All while looking at the phone screen sitting on the edge of the pot.

I think this is more designed to be used in a stand, moving the desired object under the microscope, as opposed to holding it over the item to be magnified. I guess digital zoom just has its limitations.

Ps… man those Sarsaparillas… so super healthy and vigorous. They are going to get stress tested in my room though, they’re 6 inches closer to the light than I’d like. Super stoked by 'em.

Speaking of which did you pick any up? Not sure how many Frim sent, but my first two were both girls and I took cuts. Happy to share some seeds, hit me in the pm's if ya want. Probably can send you a few more Fiona’s Chemcake seeds too, I think those tester packs had like 7 beans. I have one pack left.

And if the timing ain’t right now, offer stands later ?

No, didn't grab the Sarsaparilla. Only doing fems for the foreseeable future and didn't want to get in anyone's way that really really wanted them.

Haha I did manage to re-home a few of those packs. Never was quite happy how that all started. Ended ok though. Happy to help.
