The growers don't make money right now here the only ones that will last are the ones that can lose money through it I know quality growers but lbs to dispos are a 500 that's the max they will pay the mom and pops grows are going hard to compete with the renamed 500$ bubba lbs

In the Music City a zip goes for around $2-350 depending on quality or who you know. If Federalization of interstate commerce becomes legal, my hope is that my state decides keep commercialized sales illegal and legalize home grows. I love growing and don't foresee myself stopping, I'm breeding to make a new strain so it really won't impact me, worst case I go white market selling seeds and it pays for the lights to stay on and a 6 pack of brew...

Cost point is everything and how they make money....and in Canada what they do is this. I have a prescription to grow...i can take 2 other presiptions to grow as a caregiver under my umbrella. The shady places will give you a 250 count for like 1000 bux with their bogus doctors...750 plant count.

They take a house and sea of green the whole thing top to bottom and pump out weed...

So their cost is low....but this is being remedied by the gov...someone came to the conclusion that no one needs 250 plant count...and i would argue they are correct lol

those people are getting a whole different renewal letter than i am....mine will be an appointment with my grow doc in about 30 days...hi G....lets talk..man thats great...Talk to you in a year...RENWED.

And I know my costs.

Water per month...now that i have shit under control...75.00
Electricity to run my grow lights...125.00
Grow medium is free i use ROLS....nutrients maybe 50 a month now (but i have sacks of nutes i dont count...they are written off previous expenitures).

I grow 1 to 2 pounds a month for 250.00. 15 an oz when its on the light side...so its still doable.

My best bud...since grade school can get a script...i am man get a fucking script...add it to my address so i can get a bigger count. I will give you the 3 oz a month for the 15 it costs me an oz...but some people just wont get motivated to do it.

Good news is the RCMP Plant Count Division...does not exist.

Here it depends not just on where you go (dispensaries in some areas are making Starbucks blush with numbers.... 6 in a one mile area....) but also what you want; the GMO I got last year was on sale for 99 dollars an ounce. The next week it was 75 dollars for an ounce (shake ounce that had a nice load of seeds that I currently have running outside) but a UK Cheese pre-roll that's probably shake is 20 dollars..... Blue Cheese is 400 dollars an ounce at the ONE dispensary that I could find it which I did NOT buy.... 400 an ounce... nope.

They seem to add cost by THC content... as High Times magazine said "no one buys liquor based on proof" but if you add certain words to the strain name it seems to cost more (name a strain, or better yet a cutting Runtz Cookies OG and watch the cash pile up with 2,000 dollar cuts....) I still have weed left from when I started cropping out last season so we don't buy it. They did tax my ass good on those UK Cheese ones though..... fuckers lol.

Now for illegal purchases? Shit the first time I had Blue Dream I paid 10 dollars on the East Side of Detroit and it was half an eighth maybe? 5 dollar grams of Blue Cheese near east 7 Mile too. Detroit knows good weed.

The quality is hit-and-miss but tends to lean towards the low-mids but I've had friends get pouches that were straight fire though that's a rarity.



My S-I-L was out here from Mississippi in 2020 and spent a month buying up the cheapest oz's she could find to take back and sell in MS.
The bud was horrible looking and she claimed she would make over 3K on the 500 she spent.
She doesn't know I grow nor will she ever but I could probably make a killing running stuff through her.. ?‍♂️

Where people buy weed from around here really depends on their financial status in addition to preference.
Low income peeps cop the illegal stuff all day. The retail/mall crowd will steer towards commercial as well as the higher-income folks.
The lucky ones know a skilled grower and stay loyal or mix dispo top-shelf with quality homegrown but that's a very small crowd.

Most growers around here can't. They either don't produce enough to share or they are doing it for the $$$ and the quality suffers as they try to churn out as much bud as they can.

Can't believe those $69.99 halfs and ozers. Even shit weed here has to be tested and that raises the price. The cheapest I see is around $7 a gram

I haven't been to a dispensary in about 3+ years so I can only go by the ads and Weedmaps. At one time I was able to get some dynamite Super Glue for $120 a half but that didn't last more then 6 months. I always tried to buy a few favorite strains like NL, the Glues, Mendo Purps, GDP, etc.

I don't know anyone who sells it privately and I have no desire to sell anything.

same here: for personal use - then you have "seed" prices - just went to Insane Seeds - they have Compound Genetics new drop seed packs from $300.00 to $400.00 a pack of fems. A while ago purchased a oack of Jelly Breath S-1's for $60.00 (In House Genetics) orginally it sold $250.00 a pack - at that price you think genetics are out of this world but ran a few $60.00 a pack and the final product was disappointed small yields and they wanted $250.00 a pack from the start NO WAY the price matched the product. Don't understand pricing ?must be genetics ? NO it's how much a person will pay and the advertising of that specifi strain, Have never heard anyone saying "yes" spending $400.00 a pack + is woth it-- Maybe if ther was a orginal RKS strain (RKS by riot seeds for $500.00 a pack !!)
