HydroRed's Horticultural Whorehouse

Veg feed right after chop and 24 hrs light seems to do the trick for me. I also pull all the roots off from outside of the container (in hydro) and flush with fresh water real good to clear salt buildups from the last 60+ days (recommend for both hydro or soil) before feeding.
I agree - after a good rinse, straight to 24 / 0 , then begin normal veg nutes at the next dousing. Usually 3 weeks you'll see some action, but some are closer to death than others before being revived, and take more time.

I myself recently aquired the base ingredients.
I will say this, the last batch of the A/B refill kit, I got from eBay(which is also no longer available) had nowhere near the effect of the very first batch I bought last year.
I noticed they recently mentioned "new and improved" in the description since my last purchase. Curious as to what was changed?

Damn, I recently gave away my stuff for making STS and just discovered my favorite Twenty20 A/B STS mix isnt available anymore. I hope they make more because that stuff was convenient and worked amazing. Guess its back to ordering "home science tools" :geek:

I'm using some of that for the first time now; have given a Cob's Candy 3 doses and hoping for the best.

I'm too lazy to try making my own so when I saw that Twenty20 was all put I grabbed this one...

Well find out how well it works soon enough

It most definitely works. The first batch I had, like a year ago, I only sprayed once, and it fully flipped. What I don't recall from that exercise, is exactly when I sprayed. One branch on a larger plant, and one full teen sized clone of different genetics.
This time, I did it right at the flip. I got a partial reversal, on each of the same selections, basically teen sized plants of each.
I think there are enough variable factors, for me to still have full faith in that product.
