Pretty sure it's gotta be just right . Dry is good 🤙I recently got one of these I would like to hear from anyone using one of these or has at least seen one used mine came with 2 blades I will be harvesting soon my personal preference is to trim dry but open to suggestions any experience better than none View attachment 58363
Thanks I could see this gobbling up some of the fox tail budI have found Using mine with dry I find a lot of tric in the bottom afterwards. I have been striping all the Big Leafs. Trim Wet then Dry. Then come back and hand trim to my liking.
If the Plant has a lot of Foxtails I just hand trim. I have a Love Hate relationship with mine. My 2 cents
I guess I'll find out soon enough starting wet & then trying various stages of drynessPretty sure it's gotta be just right . Dry is good 🤙
That's an area I'm wanting to get into either hash or rosinI will Add the hash out of the bottom from Dry Trimming was always nice.
Been looking at rosin presses with the trimmings in mind thinking that if I remove the larger fans first the sift should be high enough quality to press?
With rosin it seems to be all about the strain. But generally, yeah, that's all I dab. I sift my sugar trim, bag it, press it.Been looking at rosin presses with the trimmings in mind thinking that if I remove the larger fans first the sift should be high enough quality to press?
I could see where strain choice would be a major issue I have a lot to research on everything from presses to the bags scraping tools well pretty much everything lolWith rosin it seems to be all about the strain. But generally, yeah, that's all I dab. I sift my sugar trim, bag it, press it.
Just don't be shocked when you come across a strain or two that just won't give good returns no matter the temps or pressure, not even the top buds. It's all about the chemical make-up of the oils and terpenes.
I liked the dab press 6 ton press i got from Amazon. Was $500 or so and could squish 7 grams no problem.I could see where strain choice would be a major issue I have a lot to research on everything from presses to the bags scraping tools well pretty much everything lol
It's becoming a genetic trait some are hunting now, so the selection and knowledge of, should start improving and I imagine it will be a selling feature soon, maybe a description on websites etc.I could see where strain choice would be a major issue I have a lot to research on everything from presses to the bags scraping tools well pretty much everything lol
Duuuurp. Yes. I forgot moisture. Rather important. When I said "dry flower" I meant buds....not actually dry dry weed lol. You don't wanna be pressing crumbly stuff, impacts yield big time.GG#4 also presses great.
Don't forget moisture content.
I find that 62% is where it needs to be and don't be afraid to play with different temps and times with different strains.
Cheapo SS dental picks are fine for collection

I've seen DNA-r/p mention concentrate in their descriptions so rosin could be next I've heard for a long time that lsd is one of Barneys best strainsIt's becoming a genetic trait some are hunting now, so the selection and knowledge of, should start improving and I imagine it will be a selling feature soon, maybe a description on websites etc.
LSD from Barney's Farm is my main rosin strain. Comes out like cheese at lower temps. Collects super easy. Super tacky. I've pulled over 30% with it, typically about the 25% range though. EDIT : (with dry flower)
LSD is phenomenal. I bought 5 seeds and picked the one plant that stood out. Insane trichomes. Great calyx to leaf ratio. Ultra dense buds. The tops tend to smell nutty, very little smell, and the next level down tend to have this overwhelming citrus smell that burns your nostrils. It's a weird bouquet, but just potent, almost acrid.I've seen DNA-r/p mention concentrate in their descriptions so rosin could be next I've heard for a long time that lsd is one of Barneys best strains
@DavidDellaRoccoSame press, but I got the 12 ton version.
