I'll make your next LED

I am flirting with the idea of starting a smal business creating custom lights.
I have a friend on eBay who sells Samsung diode strips and he wants to become part of our community.
I feel the curve shifting towards LED ligbting in the future!?
I have frosted many a nugs using,my 2700k lights. I will be offering 96 diode Samsung lm301b diode setups for whatever size you need.
HMU pm or on here and let's get Growing/Hunting!?

Good for you bro. Just don’t get all up in your head doing it like that one guy we know did ??

pulling the big guns ;)
General information, specs , pricing , prebuilt of kit?, Lamp Efficacy (µmol), waterproof ?
I will work on building this thread with past builds. @High kev has one of my 4000k qb132 builds.
They have discontinued the qb132.
I am going through growdaddyleds.com aka ucandewit on eBay.
By making more lights for my fellow growers, I am hoping to create a reputation for quality light builds.
Check out my ig I'm gonna start posting more pics of my creations ?

And to answer the previous questions:
By creating this reputation of ,one of a kind designs, customized for each specific environment and life cycle of the plant. I hope to get a better price and maybe buy in bulk.
These particular Samsung strips use the latest generation of diodes. Lm301b. 96 of em on a 16 inch strip.
He offers a couple different spectrums. Some even mixed with added reds in each strip , or I could incorporate them along with the others @2700k , or a veg spectrum of 6500k and add a blue or two.
Here is the driver I get for CHEAP! 35$ for 350 watts @24v 1128202239a.jpg
The downside to these drivers is the ovious risk of electrocution. This is meant for a computer tower. @Jewels ! Be careful haha I do no why I thought of u!
Also its not waterproof like the comparative constant voltage driver by meanwell. I believe an hlg320-24 is almost 100$ or the xlr model maybe.
I do like the added heat from keeping the driver mounted on the light. In the summer I leave 8' of wire to remove it during the warmer months.

Would u do cobs also ?
Yes. I would have to use a different supplier. But I'm flexible.
As far ad DIY goes. I could do all the wiring and assemble it. Then partially disassemble for shipping.
This is all new to me. And it will be my side side project. So patience is key with me.
I really wanted to see if there is a market on here. I like using him because I have a cc that he accepts , honestly. This is an investment in my eyes.

For all of the guys on the fence.
Just imagine never changing bulbs again $$$$$ the deterioration of an LED over years of continuous use is nominal.
Meaning they dont go bad. We can clean em with a clean moist towel when shit happens. And in between grows when I sterilize using clorox wipes.

Just a heads up ..make sure you don't get
those plastic quick connection hot or they will pop right off and then your screwed until you fix them...

When he was sold the older one with the double ends you could just move the wires but not now with the single...

Also if it was me I would mount the strip to a heatsink with a few washers, nuts and bolts so air can move though..

But this is just my 2 cents worth

Ps I have 4 strips that I have to fixed...so I know

2700k with the 3000k and the far reds....
Been There done it..

Good luck with it....

Double ends? Could,u elaborate?
As stated before this is My first time with strips. Thanks for the tip.

The strip is mounted using thermal tape. Why nuts and bolts?

I would be very careful about building and selling lights unless you consult a lawyer first to make sure you have all your ducks in a row. All it takes is for one asshole to burn his house down and sue you for you to lose everything you own. I work in automation and integration and there are certain things we refuse to automate because our lawyers have told us that even a signed risk acknowledgement from a home owner can be thrown out in court cases when safety is a concern. People suck and they LOVE to sue.

I'm running 3 of the reds and 1 of the 3000k in my room right now...
I'll show you later....
And the reason I stopped messing around with them.. was I got 2 that we're bad ...he made it right But right then I also lost the ends to the other 2 ...
By the time I got parts from 3 different place to put the things together, I really didn't save a dime... then if there's a problem you have 3 different people passing the buck...

But again this is just my 2 cents worth....
