Like @Bevers said, the plant the seeds came from wasn’t necessarily pollinated.It could have “selfed“ itself (any kind of stress can change the hormones in a plant, and some are just genetically unstable (sexually) to begin with..)
That being said, keep a close watch for bananas (hermaphroditism). If it’s only one or two bananas, you can pluck them, but watch your other plants, and don’t put them too close just in case

There is no difference. In order to self it has to herm/be reversed. If the plant in question was in a mixed room it could have been anyone of the plants it was with. If it was monocropped there isn't any question.

Hahah good luck with that..My wife stated she was dressing up as a pot plant for Halloween just to get some attention from me...It's a rough battle between the ladies at times... Weird how quickly she becomes interested come smoking time tho...I swear she thinks these plants just grow themselves and inside the tent is just the perfect ecosystem of magical wonders with the perfect the amount of rainfall and sun and pests just hate the place

The ones that intersex without assistance yes, reversals are a lil different as they are induced to intersex. They may have latent intersex traits depending on cultivar but not always. Good stable genes should produce stable feminized plants with little or no intersex tendencies when grown.

I do appreciate the positive feedback gang !! I feel excited to try my first indoor run with your guys encouragement now I’m super pumped ! Gorilla Glue and every Chemdog were all bag seed at the start, and those are just off the top of my head.
I've got 4 GMO plants outside right now that came from a shake ounce from a dispo last year. I know they might hermie, and I also know I LOVE GMO and don't care in the slightest about that. I'm growing that strain to smoke the results and enjoy it, and if it does hermie? Oh well, more seeds. I got like 30 seeds out of 2 ounces so I'm glad I've got them.
Just remember if you see a bunch of male plants pop up from those, then it wasn't likely to be a hermie. I had to learn that somewhat recently. Before I joined this site I never had non hermie beans. Still enjoyed smoking the 10 or 11 pounds of weed I got last season though.

I agree with everyone.
I found 12 seeds in an ounce of OG kush some years back, while none of them turned out identical to the weed they came from (they didn't have the same taste and smell) they were really good and I have found very few herms over 5 years. Definitely grow em.
