Lets talk nutes

Skunky Dunk Farms

Cannabinoid Receptor
So for about 20 years ive been using guano/molasses teas. Amendments have included humic and fulvic acids, kelp and a microblast. All in soiless mix.
However, this run ive been trying a new system, ive amended my soil mix with guanos at the beginning and used Jacks 321 + therir bloom.
Really not impressed though.

this is the majority of what I am running, with the exception of senzisym, and a chitosan and salycilic acid mix that I source myself... currently trying to dispose with these bottled nutes. Finally was able to get an order of megacrop, which will replace the need for the extras... I am not sold on green leaf sweet candy... I think it may actually enhance flavor TOO much... don’t like that. By the end of the week, it will be just megacrop, the bud boost, and enzymes... dynomyco innoculants over great white now (it was a money thing and got lucky they work)

Currently running with this. Was using botanicare pbp. Also use terpinator in bloom and photosynthesis plus in veg.

Working on making a soli with dry amendments when I get around to it.

Terpinator is the one thing that has eluded me... But I still revisit it all the time... Thoughts? How about recharge?

I've heard it called snake oil yadda yadda but I've used it for 4 years and did a side by side on the same clones one with and one without. The ones I used it on always had more frost and pronounced flavors. Its a little expensive but I only have a small grow for my family. Pretty sure Schwaggy P had a write up on it on his RIU thread where he compared the terpinator vs a homemade version.

The recharge is awesome. My stems are way sturdier, I have less ph and lockout problems , and I've noticed better growth. I use it throughout veg and up to week 4 of flower.

I have tried several times to google search Rhizoflora (I think thats the name right?) For a breakdown of what is actually in it... With no success... Seems like they keep the forumula pretty tight to the chest... To be honest bro... I am tired of hearing all these CannaGods preach about what is snake oil and what isnt just because a company is or isnt endorsing them. Why is Terpinator snake oil... and something like Advanced Nutes bud ignitor (that promises faster pistils, and turn around times) not??? Ill just run it for my damn self.. Thanks tho guys... LOL

If something works for my uses i dont give a rip about opinions.
Ive tried so many nute regiments over the years, lots are junk.
I have only used bottles up till buying these amendments because I've had no problems others than stupid two spotted mites. Easy to use is good for me. So I can only compare the Meigs to the botanicare which seemed pretty much the same. Just Meigs is local and a small company so I switched over to them.

I havent "explored" too much over the last 10 yrs or so in regards to new nutrients.
Id say in the last 5 years at least Ive regularly had these on my shelf and always loved the results from each of them.

Greenleaf Nutrients "MegaCrop" V1 & V2 (recently switched back to GH)
General Hydroponics "Flora Trio" (but only use Micro 5-0-1 & Bloom 0-5-4)
General Hydroponics "CaliMagic" 1-0-0
Humboldt's "Ginormous" 0-18-16
General Hydroponics "Koolbloom" 0-10-10 (only bought this recently because they were out of my normal P/K boost)

Floranova & some bloom boosters. I use 6 diff products between veg & flower combined ? my sensei never had a real go to work job, hes been growing all his life, told me hes tried it all & this was what he liked best so I've never really strayed away from it.

I too enjoyed the results of the Floranova, but wasnt ideal for me in hydroponics. Had I been a soil grower I'd still be running it to this day.

Everyone is so monsanto this, Scott's that. I dont care, this stuff has always killed it for me in soil lol... I've thought about trying hydro a few times, dirt is so easy tho lol. I only have to work in the room once every 7 days ?‍♂️

Thats about the longest Ive ever let my hydro go unsupervised lol
Thats where us hydro guys envy the dirt growers. Were usually only as "hands off" as our water source allows us to be ?

Yeah it makes things easier for sure to have that much time & then the soil as a buffer itself in case you dont pay attention when your mixing nutes, or just have something fd up go wrong, is always nice as well.
I used an ez cloner for a long time & I liked em, I just despised having to keep them so clean. I know they are one of the most basic aero/hydro systems out there & even then after a while i was like maaaan f this idea. & now you couldnt pay me to stop using rapid rooters in a dome. Everyone finds a style of growing that works better for them, & I already think dirt is just the way for me lol.

Lol I was just having this discussion in private... People always ask... whats your secret.... I can tell you its not my perfect water quality... LOL its the buffering in the soil that forgives 99 percent of the idiotic shit I do...

Personally I think a good quality nute with a decent ratio is all thats needed. Avoid organics, ammonia/ammonium in hydro and keep it under 5% in soil. PK boost cause more harm than good and sulfur, silica are underrated. PK boost 1 week before flip for 3 weeks will be my new regiment.

Nutrients that seem to boost growth usually have hidden PGR's and supplements are only beneficial if there is a deficiency or lacking, whether its easily seen or not is another question.

I use Mega crop V1 currently and have mixed my own in the past. Thinking about Jack's next as I refuse to pay for water. If it was free I would probably go with dyna gro for ease and ratios. But like i say any balanced nutrient will work well.

Jewels

Tilts at Tables
Greetings ! From Alberta's Butthole !
I have struggled for years to source fertilizers.
Six hour round trip to closest hydro store. I am the guy that sprinkled 'Grant's Stump-remover " in his aquarium.

The local Peavey started carrying 'Future Harvest' liquid nutes.
I have had nothing but successfull runs with it.
So, now I feel I have painted myself into a corner,,,afraid to leave it.
I hate retail, and this is as mainstream as it gets.
The biggest problem is , I am lazy AND I dont have the resources to pursue an alternative.
The price is bothersome, however I pulled a halfpound off my first hydro plant, with a 40 watt waterpump.
Soooo, how exspensive is it , really ? And that is coming from a frugalfëk, like myself. Everything just works. Never burns plants, no foam, no residue, crystal clear hydroruns. They even have an ammonical laced 'hard water micro' version, I saw my last rustspot: the day I bought that stuff.
I just picked up another bottle of 'Royal Gold' Wicked foliar feeder and tje fluvic acid is gonna sweeten up my bunny slurry. Peavey sells it one dollar below website price. Unheard of.

This I call 'baby food' I have raised nearly a hundred plants, to the three week mark, using only citric acid and this :

This is no brainer, idiot juice. Clones like a damn too. Capfull in a milk jug will get a room through ths first week. Still on my second litre,,,so how expensive is it, really ?

Starting to look like a fanbio here, however;
I will not endorse this company.

My first purchase was a 'starter kit'. I paid $100 bucks, at Peavymart. Understand , I am a zer-budget grower. This was a lot of money for me.
When I sarted my flower cycle, I realised I had been doubled bottled one product, and shorted another.
Was after 30 days, so Peavey wouldn't help me. I couldnt return it, as I had consumed much of it.
I sent a kind email directly to Future harvest. I explaned the situation , and attached a photo of the products I received, in thier kit.

They replied, and said the product was should not even be expected from that kit.
I forwarded them a photo of the original packaging with with thier branding on the front, picturing the said missing product, also a screenshot taken from their website, advertising the same constituents.

,,,They emailed back with a different tune, they accused some one of switching the bottles, after they had left their purview.

Com'on, what a crop of shift.
Screw me right ? What can I do ?
The product they gave me was 16 dollars a litre. The missing product sells @ 4 times the price.
Look at that as a ratio of the original purchase.
I got hosed, on that one.

Do I hold a grudge ? Maybe.
Am I justified ? Maybe.

Their stuff is top notch, I hope you dont buy it.
If you do,,there is a comment section within the ordering shopping cart,, please ask 'Jesse' ( no relation) when Jewels is getting his ' Planatcillin '.
