Consider a sour diesel. I got close to 2 lbs off an ECSD outside 3 years ago :)
I think it's time I need to...Seems a lil weird I've never ran straight sour diesel..I've ran original diesel (daywrecker) but I think that's a different animal...I been wrapped up in the dilemma of where to even get sour diesel beans... Probably just have to grab a cut...AJs perhaps? Which cut is best @Willie

very cool brother, im going to get into the sour d as well this summer fall.

i have three lined up the 96 sour the AJ sour and then the more rare one that im not going to speak to just yet.

so i will be looking at three different sour d cuts at the same time. im trying to make sure i get things set up to run them 12 but still harvest at 70 with the rest of the crop.

should have the EXODUS CHEESE in house tomorrow, this time im almost 100% sure this is the real deal. coming from the EU so we shall see.

peace ..

Shit.... Bro... I've never even seen the Suicide one before... Only read :(

It has a strangely irresistible calling in the name, like you should be more concerned about not trying it, than trying it. I instantly had fear of missing out the moment I read it.

Damn fellas I'm taking notes down from this thread, 1 or 2 big yielders in the grow helps support the family plan.

That MK ultra does look chunky..Hell the Chem D cut from @jaws I keep is pretty chunky..I need some donks ass donks to work with..Nobody with critical mass info???? Critical++. Moby Dick or Monster??? I've never kept huge yielders thru my days. They never live up to raw fire. Just never ...Now I need a tool...I can fix whatever needs fixed with time..May have to dive back into some KC brains gear...Buds like your fucking calves on a few Bahia blackhead phenos..Just never kept those around..Was subpar to the smaller ones..I love the idea of chucking old ass genetics to these new frosty killers...It's always fun till trim time comes around anyways...Need a fucking hand held bushwhacker and shit

I took down a Campbell County Cheese last week. It was topped once and flowered early, but was quite substantial. I suspect with added veg time it would have been considered a high yielder. Just didn't seem like a great partner for garlic of lime.

Dude thanks for sharing that, it gives me a glowy feeling looking at that and then my wee sprout of it about 6 feet away :D I know my own may not look as good at the finish but you never know.

Yeah, the band named Suicide was interesting too. And you have a good point; I'd be sad if I saw a Cheese I couldn't try.

You know, I meant to mention the Chem D bro; the way that grows seeks to have a very Cheese like pattern in my experience. If it's not topped, it has that same Christmas Tree structure, with massive tops all over. Also, it smells awesome lol.

This was one of the nice Phenos from the remaining feminized Beans that where last produced in the 80s,
They stem from the late 60s when an old friend of mine returned home from NAM and another from Afghanistan region and began breeding for nearly the next twenty years. I grew these into the 90s and then laid low for the next 2+ Decades.
I saved some Phenos from last years run, using the remaining feminized Beans from storage.
Not running these this year but keeping Moms and just started thinking yesterday about taking cuttings and flowering to create more feminized Beans.

Man their are so many threads about about sour diesel cuts and lineage, I never quite got it strait. Aj, Chaco, ect ect....
Seed wise:
Sowahh is highly praised, i think its great, but super finicky imho. Has a unique gloss look to it, greasy almost? Idk.
I ran 20/20s and they were nice and gassy, less finicky, less pure form of Sour Diesel just imho.
Blimburns was fire. Purple gas. But not sour.
Ran Katsus but seeded it so not a fair look at it. Was great tho.
I have Shorelines Ecsd. Haven't ran it yet but I think it's similar to Reserva Privadas from way back... Hopefully
Way back I ran Reserva Privadas, years and years ago, I recall that being smaller buds but fire. Now I wouldn't run their gear.
I have a Sour Kush that's ridiculous. But that's a dif beast. Testing now for a seed run.

All that said, I think usually people are really looking for the most sour types.... but not necessarily citrus and not just strait gas.
I look forward to running Shorelines, but atm the closest to the Sour Diesel I think of is Sowahh. Here are some coming down soon .
Sorry they are ugly

Not ugly. Looks like some OG..I have some Sowahhh something from Tony green..Need to dig it out...Ran OG 18 from reserva privada for quite a few years a long time ago. Still have beans I crossed back that to a Sin city seeds sour flame...That OG 18 grew like a jungle vine and was dumb finicky..Hard ass grow..at least back then for me it was...Still to this day tho quite rememberable as some of the best I've had..I will dig thru them beans for sure ...plan to put some in the vault

I couldn't say for sure but I have three F2's of TopDawgs Sour Diesel up now. The 2 lb'er was ECSD from a Heisen black pack from before he hooked up with Goo.
