U are doing a solid job . Between the topping Early on and the intense light she is just full . U are straight to take a few fans or even a few of the lowers IMHO but to answer original question is say do both
Nah, just wanted her to breath easy and her enough air&light in the inner area. I will remove some of the inner foliage and/or any small branches that seem to be in the way and clothing up in the morning and post some pics.
If you want speed on an auto, which most do. I would highly recommend not topping or defoliating. That will get you much much closer to the day count you're looking for. Anytime you do any of those things, add the recovery time to the day count. Best way to explain it easily and quickly.
Leaf tuck and lst will get you better results anyway.... Damn it.. See I said I wasn't going to get into it! Haha. Good luck to you my friend. You're on the right track.

I agree I do not top my autos when they are vegging, I might defoliate leaves covering inner canopy bud sites, if I cannot tuck it. Some autos get so dense you have to defoliate sucker branches and leaves or you will get many small flowers, one tip I would tell, I learned from Nate at Humboldt Seed Company when he started breeding autos (I have ran many of his autos, fantastic breeding) when the bud sites are all made, remove all branches and leaves a foot below the canopy, you will increase yield and bud size immensely. In my experience it does not set the plant back but a day or two. It makes the plant focus all energy on the main bud sites left. We do not want to grow leaf we want flowers. This is the idea behind super cropping with photos, forcing the plant to focus on the top best bud sites. Just my two cents, there are many fine growers that use different techniques to achieve the same goal, one is not better than any other in the eyes of an individual grower. We are individuals and unique in our own beliefs. Wow, I’m really stoned sorry to ramble.
Yeah, I have started to take, depending on the plant, the bottom branches off, 2 sets up usually. Plant to plant, strain to strain could be a little more or less. I will usually take them over the course of a week. Give a solid day or two between cuts, taking one branch at a time.

Frosty. That's about the only strain from Meph I haven't run. Looks solid.
