fuck, guys. got me feeling feels i haven't felt in a long time. seems not enough time has passed yet, those bad times definitely carry an influence to this day, but goddamn did CKY have a hell of an influence. And Dunn man... crazy fuckin bastard. If it wasn't him, it was gonna be Bam, but still. He was the smart one of that group -- where are they now? Not where they used to be, that's for sure. Though who is anymore.
Think that's the essence of this place, though. We all indirectly share similar backgrounds and showed resilience to get to producing beautiful, stinky, healing shit. Thanks for the reminder of why I am, who I am. Much love.
Funny the older gent in front of me at the hydro store couldn't for the life of him figure out how he was going to elevate his flood table. Setting himself up for a 5 plant "pheno hunt" he said. Brothers of the struggle ? I can't believe only one of those cats died with all the money being thrown at them. We used to eat fentanyl patches and bang percs. haha I already did last year when work got slow and the bills didn't. Some guy in Brooklyn really, really wanted it. I figured that is where it should be and I didn't have any nostalgia to the movie really.
Walking through the garden in the morning while most of the plants are still clinging to life, and spreading their seeds. I was watering one of the beds and heard a pop, followed by a stinging on my belly. I figured some sorta hopper bug got hit by the water and was jumping ship, but I didn't see anything. I heard it again and almost got hit in the eye by some unknown projectile. Now I knew I was taking fire, but not sure where from. Turns out, the water hitting my girls sweet pea plant, was causing the pods of seeds to explode and send sweet peas flying. Kinda cool cause I never seen it happen, and it made me feel like I was doing what I was supposed to be at the time.
The milkweed didn't do too good this year, but it is still spreading tons of seeds, and I hope the wind takes em far
Somehow the OD 87 Limepop x pbsad is turning into the frostiest plant I've ever seen in person. Go firgure, organic sun grown chronic is gonna be the goat. I turn 33 on Oct 3rd and it would be cool birthday present for her to finish then. 87, 333...
