What I have learned from my new project. Female: not enough environmental/ watering control..she was way heavy and over watered while the Malawi was perfect...how did I not see this coming hahahahah.....others may have seen this coming but...as a slow learner..I just had to try. However, I think this will be a great way to harvest pollen..... still more time needed to investigate escape pollen. I do have it protected with 5 layers of pollen barrier filter so we'll see. Female used is going in the compost bin. Malawi pollen to be properly harvested in the next couple days. Didn't take a pic of him with it open but he looks happy and healthy. Learning as I go ?. Since the container failed for the female I couldn't just throw my BOO out....just had to do some chuckin' lol. I think I have a problem....nope, I definitely have pollen issues ?... The AOGF3 male looked almost identical to the female I selected out of about 30. should be fun to see how he contributes.
BOO dusted with AOG F3....

Things are happening....finally. my favorite tournament of the year is the Masters .....and the world dart championship ?.... so work will be limited this weekend ?. Green x purple ( when I first made the cross I labeled it purple x skunk "PS" because of the skunk smell I got...but that was in the earlier days for me...not knowing anything about the skunk allure lol. Anyway. Sprouting in phases because I have limited space right now ...I really need to reconsider providing plants for local outdoor guys. Seriously impedes my space! Anyway. Little veg shot of my older genes I will I am hunting.... It's funny how I used to be bummed when a plant turned out to be a male...now I am bummed when a plant turns out to be a girl hahaha...funny how the addiction of growing evolves ...

As I sit here in my garden enjoying the highs and flavors it blesses upon me...I can't help but reflect and continplate life . The one thing I didn't see learning from growing is...it has made my mortality very clear...I just don't have the years left to grow and develop what I desire. Finding this site has really helped me detach from the latest hype strains. I am going to focus on breathing life and stabilizing my old ( 90's-2000). The mind is so interesting,. People mostly grow from people they know or have known names...otherwise the seed is questioned and not respected. I am guilty 100% of this.... But at this point in my life I just don't care. I am going to dive deep into my old stuff... ok ok ..I can't help but keep some of bodhi's and useful's genes around lol. Love those guys! ..but I will begin to really focus on bringing the PRE millennial plants back! ?. ( I'll keep trying my 70's seeds but we all know I'll win the lottery first lol) This is a shot of one veg plant...aquired between 1999-2000. From a grower from San Francisco I met at a volkswagen camp/weekend event in so cal. Bare with me as I am early in the journey....going to take me a while to really increase the genetic diversity then focus on the hunt. I don't really care if people want to grow my seeds, although it would be cool, I just hope you enjoy the journey with me......if this site doesn't get corrupted I'll keep posting over the years. Honestly if it does I'll just post pics and stop talking...just love to share the genetic expressions of this plant! lol!

The one thing I didn't see learning from growing is...it has made my mortality very clear..

Sometimes, when a plant is just so entirely beautiful, I will let it veg and veg and veg.
The possibilities in veg are endless.
I may have apologized to plants in the past, for putting them to flower.

Structurally, the climax of any story is the moment the fate of the characters are known.

It is like saying , " your youth is past, and your inevitable demise begins now "

However, I do enjoy smoking them up,,, so there is that?

Embrace the opportunity of growing fellow hunters beans.
Some of my favorite stuff came from mere suggestions,,, " Hey, try this out "
The way I see it, no one is going to take the time to lick a stamp for a steaming turd.

Soon enough, your gear will be tickling someones fancy.
Got a penny? Leave a penny.
Need a penny? Take a penny.
