It was my first time landing Lake Trout, and yes I got the biggest one lol. 13 pounds I didn't think was huge, but our state record is pretty big and that was my base for comparison. The in law said his personal best was the 12.75 he landed that day, so I'm guessing 13 was actually decent, but I've seen them larger so I didn't think it was a monster. Tasted good though lol. Plus the head is good bait for Catfish.

Haha man I spend a day away and we got all kinds of action in here. I was going to ask if maybe we move any fish pictures/memes etc that aren't caught this year, to the "Who loves fishing thread". I guess as the OP I have to come in and be a party pooper. I want to try an keep this thread all pictures from this year only, along with minimal obscure conversation.
I'm sure we'll get off course a ton, but I will try my best to keep things in order.
I also want multiples caught! IDC if someone already caught a bluegill, I want to see YOUR bluegill!!
Every person that contributes a picture will get a super limited edition " Dante Bahama" seed or three, depending on how many I've made. I think this will be the only way to score any of my creations this year.... Every fish pic is a winner.
