Does anyone really eat anchovies on pizza...or at all for that matter..what do they taste like....sardines?

I eat anchovies on homemade pizza but would never order that shit from a pizza place that lone can prolly sittin there for years. They taste like salty salty fish bits 10x salty as sardines, anchovies are like fermented fish paste less like a fish.

I've eaten Anchovies on Pizza. It wasn't bad. As already mentioned it's really salty fish. If the idea of salted fish seems gross, just remember that fish sauce in a Thai restaurant is basically the "juice" of salted fish that was left in the Sun lol.

Like little stripes of salt on your pie. I love them, but not everybody else does. I bought a jar of them once from a restaurant supply. OMG...that was heaven! Best addition to Tomato sauce ever too.

Yeah I didn't mind them at all; went well with a good pizza I don't think I've ever eaten a fish I didn't like though lol, it's one of my favorite proteins.

It is the marina in true marinara sauce. Without anchovies it is really just tomato sauce.
