I've had a few run-ins on the river where a sniper or available artillery strike would have been handy.
The worst are the guides who figure they can just pull up, drop anchor, and push you out of a hole you are already fishing. Those pricks are usually shameless, but I can generally make their client(s) uncomfortable enough that they move along. Between trash talk and threats to cross their expensive fly line with my heavy braid as many times as it takes, I usually manage to wreck their enjoyment to the same extent they ruined mine.Timely post, I'm going to see if I can get a line in some time this week. I got my river bag re-assembled earlier today and am getting excited for a new season.

Definitely an element of truth to that message . It’s usually the weekend warriors that have no idea about etiquette on the water .
