I popped 2. The first had trouble sinking and went black in the cup, the second sank quick and was up in 3 days. Stretching as we speak, but looks good. I am ok with a male this round but I picked or tried to pick a girl seed.............hoping for fire, the cross is intriguing.

Yep, i would expect some rotting fruit with chemmy overlay and a killer high. But thats just me imagining based on my brushes with the parental stock through other crosses. Its enough to want to try it, but then so is almost every other cross i see lol

No, I never grew GoW before. The BFT (in the pic) is the first GK gear I popped. I've been sitting on that chinook haze forever until finally the haze word seemed to sink in. I hope it's hazy, lol.

I like that passionfruit hp myself. Also considering the Laughing Lemons, or Umeboshi or Wonder Wookie as a wookie x and the 2 purple unicorn crosses need more looking at. Some of the possible freebies look pretty good. I mean "Skunk Hashplant"?? I'm down with that.

Imagine walking away with Mexican Death Sativa.......what a name! lol

Just got all caught up Willie. I enjoyed your log, awesome garden (inside and out) you have there! Also, thanks for posting about the fels-naptha. I have been using Dr.Bronner castile for a while now. I love the stuff and although the bottles are a bit pricey (yet not that bad) they do last a really long time and for countless uses. But, after a brief search, the fels-naptha uses and price tag has got my attention...def something I'll be looking more into.

Definitely do the fels-naptha. 1 bar lasts like forever plus a couple of days and it kills most bugs on contact. It works better for a fast knock down on gnats by just spraying the top of the pot's soil. Kills them in place and if you do that on bad infestation you'll see noticably less bugs on the sticky traps. If you spray them in the air, they may be stuck to your fan later though.....make that "they will definitely will be stuck on your fan later".

Now for something a little different...........remember that quarter pound brick earlier in the thread?


Well, I noticed that I could load a 30% heavier puck to press rosin with just by snapping a piece off that brick. I have the small DulyTek press, with 2x3 platen. I could do max 1.5 g at a time and yup, I weigh it. So I can put 2 g's of brick on there pretty easy.

The vacuum sealer makes the herb denser than I was doing with a c clamp. Time to experiment. I have a mini ice cube tray that I effed up making chocolates so we will sacrifice that for science

What I need here is some square plugs to apply pressure to the pucks. But that ain't happening just yet and I'm not sure how thick they need to be. I'm going to use 5 quarters on each to test the theory.

The sealer has enough oomph to bend the ice tray.........those pucks should be hard. I'll check them tomorrow. I think I could make a cap for that cube tray in short order. Invest some time but then I will get a dozen pucks done in a couple of minutes in the future.

You’ve basically made your own pre-press molds! You should definitely see a yield increase. How was the rosin?

This is going to be so much easier than juggling the tube, steel bar and clamp for each plug. I'm going to let that sit overnight.......that's dubstep in there now........... I'll press some tomorrow and post up. Dubstep rosin and rosin from the Brickweed .............both are very good
