I will post my journey on this thread. I been growing autos for 3 years now. Never grown a photo. First ever auto was in 2013 auto seeds auto #1. Grew it out to just starting bud Pulled it didn't grow again till early 21’ now im 3 years deep and about 80 plants ran. Probably 15 to 20 different breeders and so far 57 different strains. well to start I got a binary selections freebie. Not sure the strain could be 4 different crosses. She is at about day 40 in the pic. Pushing frost already. Good sign. There is alot more to come. I grow prepetually. Planting one every monday. Sometimes 2

Cdlc from couple months back. Had low temps in the garage I am growing in so this cdlc got almost black in color. beautiful She was. And as you all know cdlc is some dank. If you dont then you should.

these are from a small breeder that only gives his seeds away. He blessed me with some of his creations. So far they all been fire. These two are jonestown and lecter. both in 1 gal pots these pics are a week or so old. Ill have more soon. The breeder is sawney beans. And he is only on afn. Jones town is the short one thats been topped. Lecter is the other one.

Witchers creek by gnome and night owl. She had an accident and the top 2 nodes where broke off. So I cut it close to the bottom two nodes and let her be. She came back quite well.

Little tent shot. And betty white got a double header. she is alittle yellow but not as bad as she was. Packing some nice buds for sure. Frosty and going to be dense. And some wax i made. still needs some purging but looking fire.

Lecter from sawney beans. small breeder. Amazing strains. She went to day 69. In a one gal pot. very easy grow. Frosty. And nice dank smell. dense ass buds. awesome purple color. this is the second one I have grown. Popped another shorty before I harvested this one. Starting to become one of my favs.

Thanks man. I love variety. its the spice of life. And one of the beautiful things of autos. So easy to perpetually grow. I plant one or two a week. Get my pots ready sunday plant on Monday.

For sure. Imo there just as good as photos. People I know cant tell the difference. My buddy hooks people up. Never a complaint. And all autos. they are perfect for people like me. I dont know if Ill ever grow a photo.

Well Im sure as we all do mephisto is by far the most popular auto breeder. Some of my favs from them is cdlc, double grape, sour stomper. My favorite breeder is ronin gardens. He has a the ripple one of my favorite strains. Nurple by binary selections is my favorite so far. 20/20 has some good stuff. Grown there apollo black cherry gets huge and goes for a bit long 100 plus days. Not a fan of Fastbuds. non of there stuff I grown has impressed me. Gnome is well known. Grew out the anvil. Not impressed Id stay away. Have done moth man. Liked it and witchers creek is in the tent now. Looks good so far. Nightowl another top of the list in popularity and just as good as meph. Only grown one strain of dazs but it was fire. Magic beans is good. Seedsman seeds was impressive. The few I grown. I got a few photon pharms strains in the tent now and Im liking them so far. Havent smoked any of it yet. Will be harvesting one or two im the next week or too. Twisted tree is pretty good. Got there alien moonrocks. Kinda wispy buds but smell and taste is nothing like I had before. so my top three breeders are mephisto , ronin , binary selections. Top three strains Cdlc , the ripple , nurple.

Forgot about mosca seeds. They have some fire too. Frosted skywalker is fire. And Id stay away from anesia seeds. There out of spain. Bad germ one hermied on me not impressed one but. And was excited to try them as there world class they say.

For sure brother. I like to spread positivity about autos. The stigma is they blow but the fact is there just as good if not better then photos. Cause the light cycle. Can prepetually grow under the same light. And now worries about light leaks. Mine deal with it all the time. Never got nanners from it. And If you know what your doing you can get a pound off one in less then 90 days. I seen it. Got a nice little verity there. what size pots? One gal? What kinda soil? They are looking good from my place. Havent herd of most them breeders. Only 00 seeds. And if your talkin jean O from afn then him too. I dont have a whole lot of experience. 3 years for me. But when I go at something I go hard. And did lots of research and went on afn got
some advice. Now I dont ask for help really just try and figure it out or most the time not figure it out. Lol I use one or 2 gal pots. Had my best luck with promix hp and happyfrog. Happyfrog has to many gnats in it though. Promix you need to feed right away so some good and bad to both. As for photon pharms I got 4 strains going now of his and all popped with in 4 days of direct plant to final pot. No soaking or wet paper towel just like good Mother Nature does it. In the dirt and some heat and water. Had great success with that method. I have found some soils are not good to start in tho. I was having a bunch of issues with them germing but damping off or not cracking at all. I was in new soil sunshine mix 4. Hell of a time I was having couldn’t figure it out. So I did a test of putting different soil in a cup sized hole in the full pot havent had an issue since. And the soil I bought was promix from walmart. Better seed starter then hydro store soil. Well known expensive soil. I wont be using sunshine mix anymore. Back to my promix hp. If you need anything dont hesitate to ask. And I got some beans from a small breeder he gives out for free. Im willing to share if you want. They are autos and be free for you to fuck around with. Let me know. Good luck on your auto journey my friend.

This. They were my first experience with autos and damn near put me completely off from trying any more. I chose strains that were older work, thinking those lines would be well established and stable...wrong. After seeing what Jean-O was achieving outdoors with his, I tried his and did better but still not satisfactory, and I chalk that up to my own inexperience not his genetics. Maybe I'll give some auto's another chance one day.
