Welcome @Captain Sternn

Man - a low tech, low budget, outdoor grower that loves beer.... You have my attention!

I'm broke like Windows NT and German and Irish and you don't even visit me... LOL

Autos are from Jean-O's Genetics in Michigan. I haven't yet had a chance to see if Jean-O has a presence here.
1x Blueberry Cheesecake
2x Grape Cheese

Did I read this wrong ?? Are the Cheese the Autos ? Man there's a guy here breeding Cheese !?!?!? How have I not ended up at his door following my nose already.... haha.

I have the Briscos version of Blueberry Cheesecake outside right now :) Are those big enough to sniff yet ??

Two mentions of ? and Billy didn't come running? ????

I was picking the Wife up from work.. LOL.

LOL and he said Morels too!

Thanks @spyralout I feel comfortable and welcome both here and it's appreciated.

@Rozgreenburn did me a real solid turning me on to ph. Roz and I had just hit it off and I mean just had, on one of those cannabis fight club boards, and that happened just in time for him to see me get my ass wallowed all over the parking lot before self-immolating :ROFLMAO:

I'm too nice a guy for a community like that :D I doubt if I ever impress anybody with my achievements in growing, but once in a while I say something pretty funny, I like making people laugh so it works out.

Nice to see you out and about I hope that means you're feeling better.
Welcome @Captain Sternn. You’ve come to the right place. Enjoy 👍

Good looking out @Rozgreenburn for leaving the breadcrumb trail here 👊

Yep that's the guy. He's always seemed like a solid dude and knowledgable grower. If you hit him up, give him an invite to here he does real good content in his grow journal. Last I knew he was working on what he was calling Blood Cheese iirc I'd like to know if that's ready. 😀

"if" I hit him up LOL. I will have to wait though; Right now I'd end up sending him a 14 page letter and scaring him off *sigh* LOL.

I can't believe there's a guy right here in the Mitten doing Cheese breeding and I had no idea.... I'm telling you, we need a newsletter....Like "Cheese monthly" or something.

Thanks (y) I found him on another board which is currently transitioning to a new domain or some shit and I think it's still on-air, I just can't get on it. I'll try to figure something out and see if he'll visit us here.

Here's my 2 Grape Cheese of his taken a few minutes ago, had to go out and sgut water off to the pool anyway. Popped May 1, my thinking is they are behind because I didn't do something but not sure what. But they are both getting up some steam now.

I always felt like there's a lot going on with cheese that gets by me, so yeah I'd read cheese monthly. Or weekly.

Billy, you would, no, must be the editor of said cheeselated newsletter. No one here has a higher cheese threshold, of that I'm fairly certain!

I'm really glad you came over here. I don't invite many folks to join us. My biggest fear would be inviting someone who's got troll issues. Need to keep the civility preserved. We all become better growers here because we help instead of fighting. Plus, we have the best Bud porn;)

I have to go out there tomorrow and do some care giving and I'll see. I didn't know you could get a whiff from rubbing the stem until I got here. I'll try that, and I've been asking myself if I should top the bigger one. He still has Blueberry Cheesecake and a lot of his creations have cheese in the mix. The grape cheese is sold out, I checked Seed Cellar they didn't have any left either.

What is a good strain of cheese to get beans of these days ?

Yeah, the bigger one you can, the smaller one not so much. I thought the smell seemed strong for a stem rub too, the flowers ought to be rank when they come on. This plant is growing quick I can pretty much see the difference in it by the day and I'm excited about that. I did complete a couple of FastBuds Cheese my first grow but they were wonky and Chernobylistic, yielding only 18g and 10g. So this one could be the first completed auto I feel like I can take a bit of genuine satisfaction from. My last 2 FB cheese beans have failed to germinate so what I have up now is it.

Thanks for all your comments guys, feel free to visit my grow thread and to comment there as well. This is my third year and it's kind of a mess. I hope there's never another like it, but I'm going to bring some bud in and learning from the experience.

For what I've ran myself and can fully recommend :

Susie Cream Cheese, Blue Cheese, Blue Cheese X Mikado, Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin (Those two are from @HOGBACKMAGIC14 and he's got more I'd like to try) and I have to admit..... Cheetos and Dead Whabbits are already pretty impressive! They're all outside now, and looking good :)

The UK Cheese S1 I've got out there, and the Blueberry Cheesecake from Brisco's, and the Alpha Skunk Cheese ALL look incredibly good, with NICE structure too. I haven't ever flowered these out before, or ran them before, but, I can tell already they should be monsters by Fall. God willing they will survive the weather and have me baked like an Apple Pie haha.

I'll get my wife to tell us if she can, she can smell the future. Myself, I never really had a discriminating sense of smell to begin with, and after Covid 2x that I know of, well it didn't get any better. In fact for several months I was smelling odors that weren't real lol.

I made it out to be a normal smell like a stinky cheese with a skosh of sweaty gym sock and faintly skunk. Jean-O has a strain can't recall auto/photo, Grandpa's Exodus that is Grandpa's Stash x Exodus Cheese I bet that's a banger. And last year he was working on a Blood Cheese which just sounds killer, not sure about the parentage of it.
