Hello ,
The Staten Island Chem is LOOSE! After a lot of back and forth, I got Stoney to agree to a limited release of the Staten Island Chem x Sour Diesel. If you've been getting these newsletters for a while you've probably heard me mention the Staten Island Chem. I'm not going to tell the whole story because I'll probably f*** it up, but it involves the old New York mob and some guys sent to collect a debt, and the clone was a byproduct of the "collections" process (early 90's if I remember correctly). It was always referred to as a "Chem" and has been closely held ever since. One of the guys from the Chem crew saw the plant and confirmed that it was NOT a chem so it was sent in for Phyllos testing. It turns out that the Staten Island Chem is a PRECURSOR to the Chem (a parent or grandparent, most likely) and is probably closely related to many of the top strains from the last 30 years (the Chems, OG's, Bubbas, Sour Diesels...) This is a VERY COOL strain just because of it's lineage but if that's not enough, it's also the GASSIEST strain either Stoney or myself have ever had.
Sooooo... you've got one of the coolest and gassiest strains EVER crossed Stoney's Sour Diesel male. If this cross doesn't arouse a primal need I just don't know what will.
Stoney didn't really want to release this cross - he is very possessive over the Staten Island Chem but I persuaded him that the cannabis world needed to try it and he shouldn't horde it all to himself. He's still not entirely convinced but he agreed to let me drop 50 packs to you fine folks. I can assure you that both Stoney and I will be digging through these crosses for a killer keeper or two ourselves.
