I'm not on IG but I am on strainly. Yes the Purple Mex is mine....

The guy I got them from in Mexico actually called them Black not Purple.

I've seriously yet to grow a purple strain that stuck around long ...But I'll keep trying to find one......I'm interested in landrace and heirloom so this was a perfect matchup..I love hazey sativa's which I'm sure this is

I did make a hybrid I call Grimace. It's (Mac1 x Dosido) then crossed with the Purple Mex. It's pretty much PM resistant. Can be grown indoors and out. Very nice terp profile. A few say it's their fav strain and grow it year after year since aquiring it.

The purple color is very dominant. Every strain I crossed it with the purple came through in the majority of the offspring.
Here's some Purple Thai. Reg Thai x Purple Mex.

Oops, wake and bake. I meant Strainly, Doh!!! I think that I'll need that one soon. I'm running through all the purple and blacks in my stash. Hoping to create something beautiful. Nice work ?

Grimace was an Archive strain ten or so years ago. Was a nice one for sure. Purpley OG.
