CHOOSE YOUR TITLE
A few weeks ago I saw that @Twenty20 Adam was looking for participants to do an autoflower journal on a new strain they are putting out soon. Of course I jumped on that right away since I loved their Trizzlers strain in every way possible.

Last night I received my package from them.. To my surprise the strain they sent me was “Knows Candy” (glue sniffer x trizzlers) they couldn’t of picked a better strain for me. The hard hitting euphoric glue sniffer crossed with the terpy melon gas of trizzlers is gonna be Legendary.

Starting tomorrow morning 3-5 of them will be getting the soak for 24hr

then straight into 2gal fabric bags filled with Coast of Maine raised bed mix, coco coir and perlite at a 40:40:20 ratio.

Nutrients will be Blue Planet Farmers Pride, liquid kelp, hydro guard, and cal mag

Light: Mars Hydro tsw2000 (300w) Full spectrum LED

tent: Vivosun 2x2x6 grow tent
Exhaust: ac infinity 4” inline fan

Germination
100% 3/3 ​
  • Soaked seeds for 28hrs until all 3 sank to the bottom​
  • Placed 3/3 seeds into damp paper towel for 48hrs (all 3 germinated)​
  • Inserted each fuzzy tap root into the hole I made in the Riot Rooter plugs.​
  • Placed plugs into prop dome under 13w Led set to Veg mode​
  • 3/3 grew toward the light and popped their helmets off.
    Watering plugs with plain bottled water( 7ph)

Last night in the seedling tray.
All three have bright white fuzzy roots and are ready for their 2gallon coco coir/perlite homes.


normally I would up pot to a solo then a #1 then the final size

But…. Because this is an auto flower and I’m trying to not stunt them as much as possible I’m gonna go from seed tray straight to final pot

Transplant

On 8/5/21 I transplanted all 3x of the seedlings into solo cups then I’ll transplant them into 1gallon fabric pots as soon as they reach 7 nodes.
I’m sure some of you are rolling your eyes, thinking how dumb I am for transplanting autos. pretty sure these plants won’t skip a beat. Trizzlers was a strong,sturdy strain that didn’t falter when I topped it multiple times and still yielded around 1.5 oz top shelf flower. which is a parent of Knows Candy

I normally top my autos but this time I’m not going to because I’m transplanting. In my fucked up way of thinking I’m switching one stressor for another so the whole transplanting shouldn’t effect my overall yield too much, at least that’s my thought here.

Medium: Fox Farms Coco Loco Bushdoctor
Nutrients: bonide Root&Grow transplant formula
Microbes: Blue planet Roots Magic

I always sprinkle a 1/4 tsp of microbes into the hole and on the roots. Then water in with the Bonide R&G just until a little comes out of the bottom.

Today they all look excellent and seem to be doing fine. I fed them today for the first time with week 2 mix this will be the first time I fed them with 400ppm I like to give them a touch strong feed to see if the tips stay green if they do then I can increase by another 100ppm/ 1/8th mix if they burn then I will run water a few days and cut in half increasing it slowly.

(Final transplant)​

I transplanted all 3 into fabric pots 1x went into a 1gal and 2x went into 2gallon pots. They all had very bright white roots at the bottom of the solos.

Nutrients: Blue Planet Farmers Pride, Cal Mag, hydro guard
Microbes: Real growers Recharge

Knows Candy looking really good after transplant all three stayed perked up no wilting or leaflaxing

today is day 20 from sprout. #2 is just taking off. The other two seem like they got a little stunted from the transplant or the day I feed them regular strength to see if they could take it. Well one did but the others just weren’t to fond of my idea.

Did some LST to all 3 of the Knows Candies. #2 is still quite bigger then the rest but the other two are catching up.
All 3 have a few pistils shooting out from the base of each node. So they all were most definitely Auto Fems. They all started to show sex on day 8/20/21. No stretching yet.

feeding Blue Planet Nutrients at Half strength with some cal mag and liquid seaweed added in every other watering/feeding.

NOTE: I had to stop giving them feed for about a week.. even at half strength they started to get very dark green and I new they needed a break from N so I gave them 3 feeds of just H20 and Root magic with a little bit of Humboldts Sticky Sweet amd they are back to looking beautiful as ever. Pics to come in in the AM.
 
Day 30 from Sprout​
I decided to switch to a new Nutrient line called House & Garden Coco A + Coco B. The Guy at the grow store said this would be a great substitute for the Blue Planet line and it would be 1/4 of the bottles to mix while cutting down on the Nitrogen which the Farmer Pride organic line seems to have an abundance of.
