My great friend at work used to work at a machine shop. They all removed the guards to grind cuz it was faster and they were timed w a bell ding timer n shit. No goggles no safety glasses all bare faced ? Fkn dangerous AF but whatever do what you gotta do. One time he climbed into a machine to fix it and someone turned it on he was like wtf omfg and hopped out on time. Wearing just a tank top n shorts cuz it was summer like 117F n shit in a hot ass machine shop w heavy running machines. Afterwards he decided to go to college and get a degree to find a better job w better working environment. When he came to our company we had a town hall meeting talking about safety and Lock Out Tag Out and he was like wtf I never heard of that before lol ?
Fuck another memory. When I was in China visiting one of the factories. They had their manufacturing on the third floor like wtf why not on the bottom floor so you can run your lifts and distribution straight? Anyways their safety was horrendous. Fire exit door on the same wall. One bucket of water no fire extinguishers lol ? Fkn I saw some guys on a scaffold building a building w no tethers. I asked the supervisor uhhh why don’t they have any safety straps? He said no problem if they fall I have a million other ppl that can take their spot lmao ?

There are 2 ways to do things ...right and again!
My father when it came time to mow the lawn....again happened a couple times.
My mom used to throw my homework at me as a child and tell me to do it over. Things were a lot different growing up in the 80's, especially in South-Africa. I had ADD as a child but back then they used to just beat it out of you. Now you get a trophy.
The land owner gave me these vintage aviators, think they are from the 80's. He used to be a pilot.

When they built the Golden Gate bridge, guys would camp out underneath it, waiting for someone to fall to their death, so they could take their job.

When I was a kid I’d mow the lawn cuz my brother couldn’t cuz he had mad allergies. I’d just push around all sloppy n shit and then my dad put his military into me and said, “do it RIGHT. Don’t do it just to do it.” Stuck w me until this day.
