One of my favorite getaways. Just you and the ball out there. None of life's troubles
That's awesome to hear I'm not alone here regarding golf. :) For me, it's one of my top three passions. I'm fortunate my significant other took to it and loves it too. We golf at least once per week and sometimes 3x a week. For example, I played a round on Saturday, golf range on Monday, I played another round yesterday, and I'm still debating if I'm going to go today. Whether it's the driving range or quick round. :ROFLMAO: She works at a big tech company so we get invited to tournaments and some private courses around here we'd typically never be able to experience. So it's really cool. We actually have our first golf trip scheduled in couple of months. We're heading to Scottsdale and are booked for three courses out there. We're really looking forward to that experience.

The 50' roll was perfect for the four plants. I thought I was going to still have quite a bit of excess, but each plant required 11', so it worked out perfect. They're definitely happy with the additional support and so am I. Growing outdoors has been quite the experience so far. I've never had plants this large or really needed to think about all of the elements. I'm still curious to see what fall brings and wonder which course is better. Do I continue just letting them do their natural thing, or should I consider thinning them a bit for more airflow/light penetration? (The bushy ones) Those questions are some of the things that go through my mind during this experience. It's pretty cool having new challenges to keep me on my toes. I'm also very intrigued to see what happens when using the GOAT as their light source. I remember trying to pull out all of the stops indoors with adding far reds and UVB's to the LED's. Now it's just the sun in all its wonderful glory.

It looks like the calm waters and smooth sailing have come to an end as it appears I'm going to be challenged with my first major battle outdoors. The challengers have finally shown themselves climbing around the outside of the pots this morning. Ironically I was in the process of a Neem Oil soil drench. I've been spraying the plants once per week with Neem Oil up to this point and was going to stop spraying since we're entering flower and just apply the soil drench. I just ordered some Spinosad and will start there unless someone else chimes in with something that's proven to be more successful like perhaps 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and water. Now that the plants are wrapped, it's going to be a bit more challenging getting in there and giving them a good, thorough spray. But it's time to put the mouthpiece in so let's get it.

After two years removed from growing I have to admit I've been recently humbled. I originally assumed it would be like riding a bike, and even though I didn't have experience growing outdoors, I figured it would be much easier than indoor. For the most part, I still believe outdoors is easier than indoors, but being outdoors has definitely provided a new set of challenges to contend with and learn from.

Recently, I finally had my first run in with some pests. I figured they'd be my first real challenge. Fortunately it seems to have been short lived and I caught them very early on. More recently I've been dealing with a couple of unhappy plants once we were transitioning into flower. The most impacted was the Skunky Moon followed by Dragonia Moon. (The two shorties.) Sickly leaves started running rampant and I just couldn't get ahead of it. I originally thought it was a Magnesium deficiency. After some Cal/Mag didn't seem to help, I began to suspect a manganese deficiency. My second attempt to mitigate the issue failed and the sickness continued. My final thought surrounding the deficiencies could have been Potassium. Again, nothing was improving and it seemed to be getting worse. I was stumped that the plants would be deficient with anything in the first place and at this point I was just chasing my tail.

After a lot of thought it finally dawned on me that the plants are most likely not deficient at all, but rather locked out. But why? PH shouldn't be an issue. It racked my brain for a couple of days because I was taking for granted the simplest mistake of all. I was overwatering. Thinking back, one of my first challenges outside was dealing with the Summer heat when we were hitting upper 90's into the triple digits everyday for 2-3 weeks. I was needing to water more throughout the heatwave. However, when the weather settled back into the 80's, I was in autopilot and never adjusted my watering regimen back to what it was. I'd been over watering the plants for a couple of weeks at least, locking them out, and fumbling around thinking they were deficient. I almost feel embarrassed for myself in making such a mistake because of pride. All I can really do is laugh at my own mistake, feel humbled, and realize I shouldn't allow myself to enter autopilot regardless of experience. Needless to say this grow was intended as a trial run and I'm thankful I'm using this growing experience to knock some dust off. The silver lining is I'm playing with seeds that are less serious since they're from an old side project that was intended for personal use only anyway.

At this point I'm feeling like we're going to get back on track with time and everything should be fine. It certainly won't win the prettiest grow award, but I don't see any reason why crossing the finish line is jeopardized.

Skunky Moon was the first to show and has taking the biggest hit. She's unfortunately lost a lot of leaves.

The Awkward Teenage Update:

Skunky Moon

This girl is extremely loud, raunchy, skunky, and starting to get a little frosty. I'm fairly confident she's still going to finish and be exceptional, but it's a damn shame she won't be at her fullest potential as she took the biggest hit from my mistake during early flower. I'd guess she has about another 4-5 weeks left.
IMG_1385.jpeg

IMG_1386.jpeg

I did a single branch pollination with some Romulan pollen provided by @Willie to this girl. After a few days, I removed the paper bread bag last night and it appears it may have took. I sprayed her down with water last night to neutralize any pollen, but it appears from the pic there's still a smidge of flour left behind.
IMG_1387.jpeg

Dragonia Moon
This girl appears to be very Kush dominant. She too is another very loud girl expressing a wide range of floral and maybe some citrus. I'm only adding "citrus" because that's something my non-smoking GF thought she was picking up, but I personally don't. She's really complex and a little hard for me to discern so I called in a second opinion. Regardless of her exact profile, it's wonderful. She's another one that wasn't happy with my overwatering during transition though not nearly as bad as Skunky Moon. I'd suspect she'll be finishing up in the next 4-5 weeks as well.
IMG_1388.jpeg

IMG_1390.jpeg

The Late Bloomers

Moon Dragon Bx1

Sadly, there isn't too much to report for her at this juncture. She smells very similar to Dragonia Moon albeit not as loud. She's the tallest around 9.5-10' and taking her sweet time. Fortunately she didn't get too angry while I was overwatering. I'd expect she has another 6+ weeks to go.
IMG_1391.jpeg

IMG_1392.jpeg

Durban Moon
Just like the Moon Dragon Bx1, there isn't much to report on her either. She handled the overwatering well and she's taking the longest. Not much of an aroma either which is still disappointing. Obviously I'm still waiting to see if this changes as she progresses, but each week I'm becoming less optimistic. Her Mom expressed either Bubblegum or Cotton Candy. I'd need to look back in this journal to see. Her Mom was Durban #2. I also no longer have my notes to see if her smell came later. But I highly doubt it. However you just never know until you know. She has been taking her sweet time this entire time so there's still a chance she could surprise in the end. I'd expect another 6-7 weeks at least before she's finished. Because of where she's at right now in flower, I dusted a branch of hers too with some Romulan pollen. (not pictured)

Story Telling, Notes, and Observations: Part One - Hyper Dragon
I've spent a considerable amount of hours over the last few days combing through the internet, journals, and my laptop trying to narrow down even further who the fathers are. While I threw away all of my old growing notes long ago, I did happen to find some gold in my iCloud. I've also found the journals to be quite helpful as a resource to look back on after the purge. Today's update serves more for personal record keeping, but also for those interested in the read. Warning: It's going to be long and will most likely require multiple posts and multiple days to complete.

Early Disclaimers:
1. Hyper Dragon (HD) has potential for hermaphroditism tendencies that I consider high risk. However I knew "this time" what I was getting myself into ahead of time. My Hyper Dragon female was a mutant. I was so intrigued by the characteristics, I decided to work with it as an in-house only, personal side project with no intentions or expectations. While it unfortunately couldn't be trusted to be incorporated into any breeding program for public release, it did display some fascinating qualities worth playing with in a controlled environment. I was hoping I could explore these characteristics more, pulling out its real potential, and hopefully adding stability it most desperately needed.

2. Moontang Mystery (MM) - Moontang by Bodhi seeds is Chem '91 (skva) x Snow Lotus. One of Bodhi's testers is a growmie of mine and he didn't cull a couple of males soon enough. He ended up having an accidental pollination while testing Bodhi's genetics. He's unsure if his Moontang was pollinated by a Terpenado male, or a (Goji OG x Sunshine Daydream) male that were both in the tent. He reached out to Bodhi, explained the circumstances, and was granted permission to do as he wished with the seeds. My growmie ended up sending me some of these seeds and I dubbed them Moontang Mystery. I have not experienced any hermaphroditism working with these genetics. Not only have they been stable, but I've been thoroughly impressed working with them. (I'll go light on the pics since MM is present earlier in this journal.)

3. Terpenado Mystery (TM) - Terpenado by Bodhi seeds is Strawberry Milk x Wookie. The story around these is the exact same as the one above, as they were involved in the same incident and Terpenado could be one of the males involved in the accidental pollination. I was sent some of these seeds too and dubbed them Terpenado Mystery. I have not experienced any hermaphroditism working with these genetics. Not only have they been stable, but I've been thoroughly impressed working with them.

Let's dive in...

Hyper Dragon - Dragon Berry x Hyper Glue

Notes: In 2019 I ended up with one, Hyper Dragon female that ended up being a mutant. I decided to let it grow and It was wildly and intriguingly unique. It had a massive central stalk and could easily support its own weight throughout flower. It grew like a luscious Kush. The closest Kush in her parental tree was Sour Kush so I labeled her as my Sour Kush leaner. While the Sour Kush was very deep into the family tree, it was the only thing I could pinpoint to have any resemblance. She also had a nice photogenic purple fade. The nose wasn't wild and definitely muted, but she could pack on the trichomes. Her flower structure was light and could definitely use some meat. Her leaf blades were also slightly forward shaped and she did express some Tri leaves. (Why this may be important will come later.) At this juncture, I still never considered her to become a future project. (No worries, she still isn't.) I did however want to throw some pollen at her for an in-house experiment before I let her go. I was hoping to add a much better nose, improve her flower structure, and more importantly, hopefully greatly improve her stability. While I didn't experience any hermaphroditism with her specifically, I ended up having multiple issues with almost everything I ran that involved one of her parents. So I knew the problem was ever present. One of the donors I used for the single branch pollination was my selected God O War male. For whatever reason, this pollination didn’t take well and I only ended up with 12 mature seeds. I'll soon learn that difficulty with pollinating the HD female seems to be a theme.

Tri Leaf and possible forward facing leaf blade suspect. (Again, more will come later on and why this might matter)

Story Telling, Notes, and Observations: Part Two - HD x GOW

HD x GOW -
(Hyper Dragon x God O War)
I'm currently growing a [ (HD x GOW) x ???? ] "mystery" seed outdoors. The father wasn't labeled. Looking back through my journal, I narrowed it down to Moontang Mystery pollen. I was using the MM pollen during the same time I was working with this particular cultivar. To make the naming of what I'm growing now easier, I recently re-named it Dragonia Moon. The mystery was solved. Or was it?

Currently I have four plants growing outside. Three of them had incomplete labels with the father's missing. They're HD x GOW, Durban, and Skunky D. The fourth and only properly labeled plant being grown is Moon Dragon Bx1. This is important because the Moontang Mystery pollen I'm assuming I used on all three unmarked cultivars listed above, is the same pollen used to Bx my Moon Dragon. Moon Dragon is (Hyper Dragon x Moontang Mystery) but we'll get more into MM later. However, having a properly labeled Moon Dragon Bx1 does give some observations to reference and compare to the other plants.

Similar Observations
- HD x GOW, Moon Dragon Bx1, and Durban all have dominant forward facing leaf blades throughout.
- HD x GOW and Moon Dragon Bx1 both have sporadic tri-leaves throughout
- HD x GOW and Moon Dragon Bx1 both have similar nose profiles however HD x GOW's is extremely loud while the later is currently toned down

- Dominant Forward Facing Leaf Blades (pictured below)

- Sporadic Tri-Leaves Throughout (pictured below)

Moon Dragon Bx1 - (Note the sporadic Tri-Leaves Throughout)
Mforward.jpeg

Differences in Observations - (Things to note while reading further)
- HD x GOW structure is heavily Kush dominant just like its HD Mom.
HDstruct.jpeg

- HD x GOW flower structure is very heavily leaning toward the flower structure of its HD mom.

HDflo1.jpeg
HDflow2.jpeg

- HD x GOW has a massive central stalk.
- HD x GOW has very strong branching to easily support its own weight throughout flower.
Ironically I nicknamed her "Knuckles" early on.
HDstalk.jpeg

So now that we've looked at the similarities and differences, is the unlabeled father of HD x GOW really Moontang Mystery? I probably care too much at solving this mystery and have probably spent way more time than I should, but I came across some notes scouring through old journals and my iCloud while trying to piece together what I was up too years ago. I'll do my best to try and keep these finding in chronological order the best I can.

Let's Dive In - HD x GOW notes:
- I only ended up with 12 mature seeds from this pairing so I've only popped four to date. Of those four, all four so far are keepers. #1 is a stellar male. He's a strong replica of his mother. A heavy Sour Kush leaning phenotype with natural purple coloring. The females are vastly different and unique. #2 has much skinnier leaves, an open, Christmas tree structure, and a frost factor that will go toe to toe with the best of them. (I will end up naming this one Gigi) She could be the smallest yielder of the three females.
D33HDGOW2.jpeg
489405A9-874B-41D0-BAA5-13514DEA126D.jpeg

#3 appears to fall somewhere in the middle. She's has the vigorous lateral side branching, but her internodal spacing is tighter and she's bushier. She covers herself in trichomes and appears to be the larger yielder of the three.

(This next excerpt was a crucial find while trying to solve this mystery.) #4 is another replica of her mother. #4 is the f'2 that I'm the most excited to see considering the #1 male appears to be identical. #4 has fat, indica Dom leaves, dense kush foliage, larger calyx floral structure, and natural purple coloring. She along with her sisters are all being f2'd and BX'd. (The last comment regarding the F2 leads me to believe I most likely used the Male #1 with the female #4 because they most resembled the HD mom and that was my original plan, until I found Gigi who was #2 pictured above. There will be more on this later, but I'm beginning to think Dragonia Moon is most likely HD x GOW F2 and wasn't in fact hit with MM pollen.)
D33HDGOW4.jpeg
F1AEAB30-20EC-4BAE-8A8A-641DE40BEFBE.jpeg
HDGOW4BUD1.jpeg

Previous Notes found continued......
- I'm also planning to hunt through the rest of these f1 genetics next and see what else I can find in the remaining seeds. I plan to work this particular cross the most along with the Moon Dragon shortly behind it.

- HD x GOW is very unique from just about every angle. This one is going to take a lot more time and effort, but it's looking to be very promising a worth further evaluation when time permits.

-This is one of the HD x GOW’s. (Purple Pheno.) I’m keeping her for color as the male I chose is a purple pheno as well. But she’s actually not my favorite of the two. I have one that I’m pretty excited to share if I can get her to do what I want her to. (I know I'm talking about #2 Gigi here as being my favorite. More to come on Gigi, however I went with the female that mainly matched my male and represented the HD Mom the most. Which is more evidence that leads me to believe this HD x GOW is actually an F2.)
F1AEAB30-20EC-4BAE-8A8A-641DE40BEFBE.jpeg

I had a lot of other side projects going at the time. These next notes pertain to how I selected which ones to keep.
- I then deliberated with myself and decided I could keep one of each. It was hard to call. In the end, the final decision of who stays and who goes was decided on the males. Out of all the males, I found three great looking males from three of the cultivars. Terp x GOW, HD x GOW, and Moon Dragon. The way I see it, I'm going to run out of space to keep these. So I decided to keep the best ladies for their matching male counterpart. That way I can f2 these gals and search through them later. If there was one to try and save the most, it was HD x GOW as I only ended up with a measly 12 seeds from that one. I was very fortunate and blessed to find a great looking male and female from that one.

- Here’s the selected ladies kept from the last round going for a round two. This time under HPS. They’re still in 1/2 gallon pots and will remain in them again for this round.
Terp x GOW
HD x GOW
Moon Dragon

- Once the utility tent is available again, all three will proceed to F2. In addition to F2, Moon Dragon will also be BX’d back to the dad.

Now we learn what happened to HD x GOW #2 - (Gigi)
D33HDGOW2.jpeg

- A moment of silence for Gigi, my prized HDxGOW #2 female from my side project. I saw her empty pot today outside of the veg tent with the other empty pots. I was rearranging and thinning out the veg tent yesterday, culling all of the side projects except a select few, and Gigi was accidentally slaughtered with the others. I'll admit, I was high AF when that occurred. Stupid moment on my part.

- If there is a saving grace, I did make some BX1's seeds that are drying now, but I really wanted to S1 this girl and search through those. Oh well.

- Oh yeah, she was the Mom and cut at the base of the soil. She's gone. I wasn't ready to work with her yet, so no clones were taken prior either. I recently harvested the last clone of her about a week ago. I hit that one with some different pollen on select branches. One being from the GOW father. I was planning to F2 her and wanted to S1 her as well. I guess the BX's are all I'll have left other than some random outcrosses I most likely will never pop but rather keep in storage just in case.

(Side note: I did find one container labeled HD x GOW #2 Gigi. I had no idea what that meant until doing all of this research this week. Funny enough, there is only one seed in the container. Remember when I said the (HD) Hyper Dragon Mom not pollenating easily will end up being a theme? If you recall, I also only ended up with 12 seeds when pollinating her with GOW to create this HD x GOW) So it sound to me like the lone seed is most likely a Bx1 back with the GOW father after reading that last sentence from the previous notes.

Is the Mystery to HD x GOW solved....
So who's the daddy of the HD x GOW growing in my backyard? With some similarities being expressed between all three cultivars of the HD x GOW, Moon Dragon Bx1, and Durban Moon, one can rightfully argue that it's still unclear. However, while I was being aggressive with the Moontang Mystery pollen at the time, Moon Dragon and HD x GOW share the same HD Mother. After finding all of these notes, comparing, and observing the HD x GOW outside, I'm convinced she's actually an F2 of HD x GOW using the #1 male and #4 female. She's so vastly different in almost every regard and she perfectly aligns with these notes I found based on how she looks and what I was trying to accomplish at the time. Because of that, I'm dropping the Dragonia Moon moniker and falling back to just HD x GOW F2. Based on my findings I would also expect to see some purple expressing itself later on in flower. Time will tell.

This investigation isn't completed just yet. I'll be diving into Moontang Mystery in the next chapter. (To be continued....)

Story Telling, Notes, and Observations: Part Three - Moontang Mystery

Preface:

After being nearly two years removed from growing, I'm learning firsthand the importance of our grow journals. They're a valuable resource to reference if needed and depending on the amount of information you journal, you can certainly get out what effort you put in. I used to keep a separate binder for each cultivar I ever worked with. Within each binder was notes taken on every plant I grew of that cultivar. I had a library of binders filled with notes. But after the last shut down, I assumed I'd never grow again and of course, I threw all of the binders away. I had two years to flush my memory of growing, putting it behind me, and focusing on other passions. Fast forward to present day, and now I have the itch again. But my memory is far from sharp to remember every cultivar, and every experience. What has aided me however has been my online grow journals. While they were only a snippet of what was going on behind the curtain, reading every page to compile forgotten information through the years has provided me with more clarity. A lot of the information is lost, but there's enough bread crumbs in these journals to jog some memories, piece together timelines, and or information that can be used to paint a clearer picture. I'd highly recommend everyone to keep a grow journal, and having more information is better than having too little.

Lets Dive In:

Moontang Mystery -
(Moontang x ???????)
Moontang by Bodhi seeds is Chem '91 (skva) x Snow Lotus. This is not a true statement but rather a poor memory on my part. This is a perfect example of why it's important to keep a journal so you can reference it later. Our long term memories may not accurately remember information, especially when we're talking about things years later. I found this post in my online journal. "He advised me that another friend was testing them too and had intersex issues with them. All of the females I grew presented intersex issues except this girl. I decided to run a couple of personal projects through her. She's going to need more ongoing testing before any real project can be considered. I'd also like to see the stability of the personal projects progeny since a MM male was used. I will say, even though this was the only female without intersexing issues, the seeds provided some good looking stout males. It wasn't easy selecting the one I chose. One of the test subjects pollinated was a Hyper Dragon."

At the time, I obviously knew I was playing with fire considering the intersexing and this explains why they were designated for a personal side project back then. The quality and their potential was obviously determined to be worthy of looking further into. But the high risk couldn't be incorporated into a public offering unless it could be vetted with extensive testing and proven stability. These side projects were eventually cut short and ended when the lights officially turned off.

Unfortunately, I didn't log a lot of information online into any of my journals. So for the most part, Moontang Mystery will remain just that. A mystery.

I did find a little more information about Terpenado Mystery, and possibly narrowed down who may have been the donor. (More to come in a later post.) But since there were two potential fathers airing out pollen in his tent, what I found surrounding Terpenado Mystery may not be applicable to Moontang Mystery. So the father will remain unknown, unsolved.

This is the sole female I kept that didn't express any hermaphroditism traits -

A mystery.

I agree. It's a long and time consuming process reading through everything again between here and another spot, but it's been fun and insightful. It's crazy looking back and realizing how much I forgot. It also rekindled a strong desire to revisit my older genetics and wanting to incorporate them into what I have planned in the future. I have a nice pool I can pull from depending on what I'm looking for in the future. My BCK crosses, God O War, Ground Pounder, Pandemic, and Black Abyss to name a few. Also anything I used the Nepal Highland with after refreshing my brain about that male I selected. I definitely don't need anymore beans because I probably have a lifetime of work with the different possible combinations I have.

Looking back through my journals also opened my eyes to my parabola trajectory. It's like that saying goes, "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach." In the beginning, I was a focused breeder. I was maintaining a solid program managing 100+ plants and doing it the right way for breeding. But the love of the plants and chasing the potential possibilities with each cultivar over filled the plate quickly. I was trying to maintain my breeding ethos while still trying to work within the 100+ plant limits. It was a fatal mistake. I was creating so many new cultivars, I would have needed a facility with 1000's of plants, not 100, to maintain a "true" breeding program. I was spread to thin and digressed into a pollen chucker. Some projects were planned with a true purpose, but looking back, I can see how many weren't. I was basically pollinating all of the good plants with other selected good plants. I was scaling way too fast for what 100 plants can provide. "Testing" started to consist of only 6 plants each because of how many cultivars I was trying to look through at once. I was also only running one test round because I had other cultivars on deck that needed to be looked through. Curiosity had me moving so quickly, I never even made it past F1's before I was moving on to the next. Reading through the journals, I can see how over time I was losing sight and becoming completely derailed. Just chucking pollen at anything that looked great or sounded great. While I still continued to keep most of my breeding SOP's in my grows, I certainly wasn't a breeder any longer due to the sheer size of what I was trying to accomplish with a 100 plant limit. Looking back now, it was a humbling eye opener. It also explains why I have so much unfinished work. I lost focus and just kept creating, but never finishing. I only have 5 official cultivars, probably close to 30 or 40 that never progressed past testing, some shelved completely, some I've never even seen yet, and I never made it to the finish line with my main project. It was a complete failure on my part.

Needless to say, coming back and only having one grow per year to rely on is forcing me to be more selective with the direction of my future grows. My main focus is going to be finishing what I started regarding my main project. I'm still chasing that long lasting, face melting, psychedelic effect from the 90's. I believe I have what I need on hand. Now, I just need time and to find the right recipe combination from my research. The "breeder" coat in me is hung up for good. I just can't justify the scale that would be needed indoors anymore for a "true" breeding program. But the research and work I've already put forth over the span of years is going to chuck some mother FN pollen each Summer until I complete the project I've been working toward for far too long now.

With all that said,
2024 is slated to be a heavy dose of Haze and Sativa.
2025 will be Indica Dom
2026 is hopefully when the magic will begin.
After that, I couldn't even guess how many years the refining process will take.

I'm still debating if I want to reach out for help along the way from some indoor growers or if I want to keep things under wraps and in-house.

Story Telling, Notes, and Observations: Part Four - Terpenado Mystery
Terpenado Mystery - (Terpenado x ????????)

Terpenado Mystery is from the same accidental open pollination as Moontang Mystery that was covered above. Terpenado by Bodhi is (Strawberry Milk x Wookie). The father of Terpenado Mystery could either be another Terpenado or a (Goji OG x Sunshine Daydream.)
IMG_E2203.JPG

Let's Dive In....

Notes:

Aroma

- Terpenado Mystery smells like you chewed up a bunch of the yellow skittles. (Goji OG x Sunshine Daydream) presents lemon. Terpenado was described as Strawberry and Gas. In my opinion, this makes the strongest case that this particular selection was pollinated by a (Goji OG x Sunshine Daydream) male. If it was in fact pollinated by another Terpenado, I'd expect the Strawberry and Gas aroma to either remain similar, or become re-enforced as F2's.

- After cure, Terpenado Mystery started to present Peanut and Citrus

Effect
- Mellowing and Happy

Observations:
- I would consider the flowers to be on the small side unless some real magic happens at some point. But she is already looking like she might be a faster finisher.

- Dense, gooey flowers
T46TM.JPG

- Terpenado Mystery while disappointing at first with overall flower size, it's finally starting to pack on a little weight to lessen that blow. It did however have a ton of flower sites and excellent structure. The flowers themselves have just remained somewhat small. (Which isn't unusual for an OG) With that said, there's just something about its color combination and hue that really makes it a very sexy looking flower. I'm excited to see it dried and trimmed.

Afterthoughts
- One question that begins to linger when going back through these journals is "Why did I focus more on Moontang Mystery rather than Terpenado Mystery?" Of the two, Terpendo Mystery looked even more promising. The only reason I can think of is it was probably due to the citrus and sweet aroma. At the time, I was completely over both citrus and sweet and those weren't traits I was looking for.
- One thing is certain, TM x Pandemic and TM x GOW have my interest completely piqued. It might be a few more years, but I'm really interested in seeing those based off my notes from previous test runs.
- I'm confident the remaining four plants being grown today have nothing to do with Terpenado Mystery. One of the original plants I culled earlier this season was an outstanding looking Terp x GOW male that I collected some pollen from and stored in the freezer. However, this male could fall right into this investigation when trying to determine who the father was. Based on earlier findings I believe I presented above, The Terp x GOW grown this year could either be an F2 or BX1 since both were stated goals and I already had pollen available for both.

Heck yeah. I've got some of my own projects to revisit.
ATM Leaning towards running a stock of GodBud F6s for seed restock, and to toss some pollen on a few other things.
Like a KingSherb fem bean I got awhile back in a contest.
So tough making bean decisions. One wouldn't think it'd be but it is. Lol
