I was all over the Va /DC spots that @primaledges mentions, and up and down the east coast. I have many rock/celebrity stories, but they all involve large amounts of coke, and include the ending " the last thing I remember was ...".

It was at an after show party at the Spectrum in Philly when BOC had several of their road crew quit, and I lucked into being hired as a 'back' for a stretch of an east coast tour. So....secure in my metalhead bonafides, I can tell you without wincing, that all day I've had my hands in the air, and I just don't care. I let the music take control; I've let the rhythm move me.

If you were ever at the Flood Zone from 96-98 in a professional aspect then we’ve met. I handled marketing and band promotion during the day for George (Owner at the time.) and ran security at night.

You got there a couple of years after me. By '96 I was in the process of being domesticated by a sweet thang from west TN. Those oil and water mixes rarely work, which is not to say there weren't some memorable times during the attempt.

LOL, I was in the middle of a bad separation/divorce and custody battle in 96. I was like a kid in a candy store after being married faithfully for 7/8 years. I eventually won full custody. When my current (and LAST) wife met me 16 years ago. I was a single parent of 4 kids. I’d been married TWICE at this point and had 2 kids from each marriage of which I had full custody of all 4. The running joke was the fact I had custody was not a testament to how good of a parent I am. But rather how shittty I am at picking SANE women...

I mean if we’re going to do drummers or drum solos. To me this will always be one of the true masters that all percussionist strive to be....

Extended drum solos were one of my favorite parts of a live show. The perfect time to go to the restroom, hit the pinch hitter, hit the concessions, chat up a few babes, and get back by the time the rest of the band returned from doing a few rails.

If that cat above hadn't been playing along to BOC, I'd have never watched it. But, yeah, Neil Peart, :)

Instantly reminded me of an afternoon after I'd first relocated to Hee Haw, TN [population 'not much'] and was walking my dog. A new looking Cadillac pulled alongside, window rolls down, and this woman says, "Tell me how to get to your local funeral home. " No excuse me, no please, just the directive. Fortunately I honestly didn't know, and when I told her, she says, "WHAT? You live in this tiny town and can't tell me where the funeral home is??"

Without pause, the reply formed as I spoke it: "M'amm, I honestly didn't know we had one. Around here, when family dies, we just dig a hole in the back yard and toss 'em in."

True story.
