Yes I’ve had the pleasure as well I’ve grow flood n drain years back then I went to straight rock wool after that much softer to tread on ...... I’ll run wit my ball in the pot and see what happens , even if I set up the pots with lots of holes down in the lower 1/3 of pot more air getting in dryer balls ..... that sounds better than wet balls .... hang with me capt I’ll nut this one out . od
I found some really nice pot risers not long ago from HTG supply 5 usd each.

You're right mate, I've seen the charts and understand the science but refuse to chase a number I could never attain in my "ZEF" grows!??
Ya the man upstairs never run by a book I don't either....... it's all be eye and the seat of my pants....

I like OD because he does try and play nice with his plants...... they run a Real LIfe.....

6/10/20 update on the cheese things are looking better as the weather warms up still got the oil heater on but only when required staying around 25 to 27 degc the at 45 to 60 last few days it's rained n snowed dump on mountain which didn't help , there at week # 5 in veg will flip in 1 week and take a few clones to pop outside take advantage of the summer weather .
