Also if you don't mind me asking...what was your time and temp on your plates, and the applied pressure?

Return % also I look for 20% + yeilders typically for flower, between 50-80% for hash. This is more of an efficiency target.

Normally around 2 grams rosin per 10 grams of fire nugs.

Also a recommendation...look up directional folding your parchment. Continuous learning is imperative. I learn something new with every press.

That's right, it's oil slick paper. I cut it in half these first 2 presses, but I'll have to look up the directional folding, as I did have a little run off on the sides of the plates.

Both times I used a press club 75 micron bag, bottle tech style. I read I could get more yield with a higher micron, like 90, 120, 160 etc. What sizes/brands do you like?

Temp on first press was 195° for about 135 seconds. Went up to 225° for the same amount of time on the second press. Yield was about the same on both runs, with 1.2g rosin per 10g of flower. The buds were 4 month old ugly stuff that I never got around to doing anything with. Decent terps though. I tried not to exceed 1200psi but may have gone over/under slightly during the press. When does your timer start?

When pressing hash, does it need to be microplaned stuff or will any consistency work fine? I have some fresh frozen I'd like to press some of. Got 37 micron bags for that. Not sure if i need to chop it up or just dump it in press and squish?

90u press club is my primary for flower, 25u-37u pressclub for hash. I do have some 120u bags they work decent also, I have not seen much of a difference in yield between 74-120, others say they do.

I start my timer about 10s after putting the puck on the plates, slowly pump in pressure another 10-20 sec, then ramp up...still learning technique here also

Here's another tip ive confirmed in "Deebs Dab Lab". The lower the temp you run the longer you can press ....180-190 I run close to 3 minutes, sometimes it butters up on the plates if im too slow to apply pressure. TO the inexperienced its awesome, easy to get up but it blocks the flow of rosin from your puck reducing yield.

not sure if my method is the greatest, but microplane on parchment in a pizza box, then jar up once dry. Dump it in and squish is what I would try..150-160F. put in bags and prepess before on the plates...be slow with the pressure, your melting the trichs and squeezing them through the mesh/stainless steel, double bag high micron then low micron for best results is using bags, or just 25u SS mesh pouch which i am itching to try once I get my mesh, who knows when

So I wanted to test the glue I squished last weekend. pulled from the cure spot, kind of twisted (not whip) to homogenize everything.

Wow flavor blast of peppery lemon, but I'm noticing a hint of garlic now similar to go. So freaking smooth even on the red setting with the puffco. This is a head crusher sitting down to play plants vs zombies with the kids.

with float valve and flush kit for membranes

misc grow led from the store still in closet unsure what it is don't remember..I'll have to check...it was just something was going to add for spectrum.

Nugsmasher OG would be most comparable. I think it's plates are bigger 4x4 vs 3x5. It's not always about the size of your plates though..

Nugsmasher mini has smaller plates and smashed max 3.5g and is 3 ton press.
