It always boils down to what you are personally looking for...Different stroke for different folks It is made in china, but the guys are really solid, and so is the customer service. They developed this through feedback from parts of the pressing community. It was an awesome thing to see, and Ill support that..my IR gun was with 2F +/-. Pretty damn good. I am sure its the same with the nugsmasher guys though. Pressing is an art form in its own right, i feel dabpress personally gives me the capability to pursue that. Else id just use the old pneumatic rosineer sitting in the corner of the garage collecting dust.

Mine should be here...I fuckin hope....any day now. Medium size.......reg unit...oil free pump. Wife said "Aqua"...LOL. Will use it for the garden and for tryin to up the hash game a bit. Lots to learn across the board. Will be a bit before I have tons of product to play with...thanks to the wife.....but it is what it is and we will, hopefully, get there/figure some of this out when the Fall harvest drops. Could be a lot of fun.......and if it isn't.....I'll be eating more soup/rehydrated veggies...

@stiickygreen , how long of a wait did you have on this. I got the final approval, the wifes, will be ordering the med this week it looks like.

Success. Well somewhat terps are expensive...

1ml of natural terps per gram of rosin minimum. More per taste/viscosity. Put it in my extra ecig tank...hot damn..it works! But... 15ml terps $120 1oz $200

1. put rosin in small beaker
2. put beaker on hotplate stirrir while warming 110F
3. Added 1ml natural terps and mix well, depending on rosin adjust up by ml for viscosity
4. Use an oil syringe to pick up your mixture.
5. Fill tank

Decarbing may be helpful (can increase temp from 110f to 230F), dont think its needed as the coil i think would decarb during vaporization... just an FYI

I wonder if mixing with the terps, chilling in freezer, then try to get it through the 22u syringe filter will work to reduce fats/lipds....Sorry for the rambles...more mental notes than anything else..

Yikes. Had a feeling that would be the case.

Our unit is here. We met the semi down on the highway and unboxed it to check for damage....then hauled it up the hill. (BIG and purty) We decided that since we aren't going to fire it up for a bit we can let it sit and ensure there's no plague on it. Meeting this driver was my only exposure/was the only time I've left the house for the last 17 days. Took my own pen to sign for it....

Will stir up the last of the bubble hash trim here real soon and see what happens. Gonna be fun and will definitely be a bit of a learning curve.

160u - larger trichs (I toss this most of the times unless it looks good)
45u- This is the full spec 45u-159u (please squish me!)

my last run was a 73u-120u, it was ?

73u-90u Full melt, The 73 really being the best there is. This is really hard to put on the plates as its full melt already....

There is also differences of ripeness which is a whole other discussion...

When making the hash, do the trichomes heads shrink in size enough to alter that grading chart if using fully cured buds and trim? Vs fresh cut, and or fresh frozen materials?

I really don't think so as I have noticed minimal changes. I don't have hundreds of batches under my belt to really compare. Things have been consistent. So ripeness as far as what I have gleaned from frenchy is basically the ripest resin heads will fall off first in your wash. Just like a fruit tree, you shake it the ripest fruit will fall. This means all washes after the first wash will not be as prime or ripe as that first 1-3min wash or whatever your practice is..

Very interesting, and likely one of many parts of why my homegrown is better than the dispo stuff, harvested before full maturity, and quick cured.

2.3g return 23% not too bad~

90u Pressclub bag 200F 2m 2500psi. Mini puck blowout top right puck, a little too much pressure, i wanted to see it run more.

Overall decent squish
in the chiller she goes

What it looks like after overnight. Very terpy, very glossy, had to get the right angle to prevent glare/reflection

This is looking great, set the controls for the heart of the sun, almost looks like an eclipse.



One thing I notice about raw/fresh terps. Have any of you ever had that scalded tongue feeling (not all do it, very terp laden strains do), like when your coffee was a little too hot?
I don't know if its because of the acidity, but it smooths out after a few days
