This Gasper wtf?

Yesterday was my lucky day on the Instagram. I jumped in and made a guess at Great Lakes Genetics for the 13 Days of Giveaways and was lucky to have the closest number. No idea what the strain is. I get another surprise when I open said pack later this week! Thanks to @greatlakesgentics2 and @3thirteenseeds and @HydroRed for the chance at some genetics!

Tye Dye Strain from Captain Redbeard Seeds. I can see this being a big yielder like the grow notes said but we need a bit bigger plant for that. Nice nuggets on this one makes for a decent yield on this small plant.

Seedlings doing fine , lost one Bing Breath to to damping off.

Anyone have any tips for revegging these, one is in coco unfortunately. Figure I'll just keep em on low n slow and see how it goes.


Couple cuts of Pure Michigan F4 & Made of Honor from Twenty20. I am hoping this PM F4 cut is #2 as it is some dank. The other we'll call Pure Michigan F4 #1 "Light". Sure hoping it's pheno #2 but have to wait to get some test stem rubs to be sure.

Lots goin on, not big buds pretty yet but we're working on it.

Going to flower this Made of Honor (Twenty20) Mom I've had for a bit. I have a couple fresh cuts rooted and coming along. She was a bit of a mess but I spread her out so we can have a better yield. I don't have time to scrog her out here in the 4 by.


Now that I'm back in soil.the growth has slowed just enough to make her stack even better. Node spacing in Coco was about double that.



This strain grows like a champ every time. I highly recommend.

Seedlings are in the middle of week 3. Growth has been excellent. Planning to up pot this weekend to 1/2 gal for a few weeks, then into 2 gals after that for Flower.


Hairy Legs (Dino Party) is being a bit sad last few days. Maybe moving to 1/2 gal will bring her around. She's still drinking but droopy.


Then I have this Wedding Crasher mess. Looks way way over ferted and a Copper def as well but I swear I didn't overdo it, she got the same as the Made of Honor right beside her. 🤷‍♂️


Fresh 16 gallons of soil made today. I only have a 1/2 a tote of made n cooked soil left for up potting this weekend so it should be ready right on time in another 3 weeks when we go to 2 gal pots.

Dont let the pot get too heavy

I could see Coco ReVeg turning out just fine. Holds just enough moisture for life support, whilst providing lots of air.

Thanks, I saw that post as well but both faded quickly after I added some watered down Microbes 🙃 I had them doing ok in back corner out of a lot of light.
Well give it a go again sometime, but if I had just taken a cutting..... 🙂

The only times I've had a reveg be successful is to let em be thirsty but not droopy when I chop.
Then just letting them stay moist but not really wet at all. Keep them fat bottomed girls wearing tight pants. Lol

Coco would do better than most soils imho as well for the exact reasons you'd mentioned.

I'm a clone takin basterd these days. Lol.
I try and keep at least three small backups of stuff just in case I love it, or want at least a couple more runs if not a for sure keeper.
There's some plants still yrs later I regret not having copies of them. 🤦 🤷🤷🤷

I feel confident next time I can make a go of it if the need be. I agree about the coco staying wet forever, the center holds a long while.
I'm learning the clone lesson but....there's this problem of having mostly Fem's for seeds, it does help when it's really good and I want to run it again asap for sure!

Ladies are up potted, I didn't piss anyone off to bad by the looks of it. We got em watered in and I turned lights down a bit for today and let em get comfy.

Ladies up potted Fri and have taken off. I am rethinking my up potting and now wished I had gone straight to the 2 gallon bags. Too late now so they'll stay in these 3/4 gal nursery pots for another week n a half and then go to the 2 gal bags.

Running out of room in here quickly so we're moving em (front 12) on up in the world to the 2nd Floor Shangri-la and into the 4by today. A few are needing topped pdq.

A couple weeks later....

Things going as well as can be I suppose. Next time I will go straight from Solo Cup to 2 Gallon. With only a week and a half in a .75 gal nursery pot it was quickly time to up pot again. I think I could save a bunch of work. That said though, while I'm doing the grow tent plant shuffle a few of these 2 gallon are feeling a bit light the day after watering which leads me to thinking today at lights on they are going to be too dry for my liking. We'll see tonight when I get up there what's what.

I have reverted back to fairly heavy LST to curb the amount of larf from me being lazy and not taking the time with several grows the last while. As usual some strains like it some don't, too bad for them lol. Training like this keeps the crazy ones from growing all over the place. At least going back to individual feeding and plant setup I can adjust heights of plants as needed. This was not as easy with the autowater setup the way it was for hydro.

I wasn't planning on running two GASper's from IHG but the first one faked me out with her late late pop and I had dropped another being the impatient fk'er I am. @Kold Kasiz said to pop a few IHG over on the insta so here we are lol.


I've not topped this Apex from Ethos, going to let her ride I think.


Chernobyl, don't know why I wrote Slymer on there (freakin stoner) So many nodes, quads, trips, half the plant grows like from seed, other 1/2 growing like a clone...going to just chill & see how she goes. Don't even know where to start with any LST.


This Bing Breath has it's share of nodes as well so just some light training to see where she goes.

What else I got goin on you ask?...here is the 2' x 3' tent flowering a couple. I am really in need of a light upgrade in here, I'll get there sometime.

Pure Michigan cut with too many tops

Closet is holding my Cambodian Crasher Mom which needs a trim. I so want to grow this outside this year so I'm thinkin on that.
Also in here are 2 Pure Michigan cuts and 2 Made of Honor cuts right now.


This Hairy Legs has been giving me trouble from the get go. As usual I didn't chuck it. I'll keep it until....


I took a cut off that Crazy Chernobyl from the 4 x 4. If I really like this stuff I may try a small SOG in my 2 x 3 in 1/2 pots is an idear I have.

Been pretty spoiled with auto watering for the last few years so going back to hand watering isn't all that.
Whipped together a watering wand. Wand was 8 bucks and I had everything else. It's working fantastic and we're getting used to it.
It's putting out 1000 ml per minute which is too much so just looking for the happy spot right now. My old Autopot tubing is great for this as it's soft n supple unlike the regular garbage 1/4" stuff that's out there everywhere. Not cheap tho.


I removed my drain tray for a while as it's only 3' x 3' so I have some more room but the turkey baster for runoff will prob get old pretty soon. I need to get these saucers painted to keep the algae at bay.


All this work made me hungry so we fired up some tasty PB cookies for my "stoner snacks" lol.


Gotta keep busy so the winter ❄️🥶 blues do take a hold...fk snow. Another 5" Blah

You already have a lot going on and making it look easy. Nice work and lineup. A sog of Chernobyl would be gorgeous.
We just finally got our first decent snow in over a year. Ive been out twice with the pup like a little kid sledding and playing. lol
