Feminized Beans

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Regular Beans
tempImageK6W8oX.jpg tempImagehUKzlc.jpg
Any Regular Beans That are Males will be selected and held for further Development.

I also have Beans that were collected from doing single branch pollination from two Ladies selected in last years run with the old Genetics I ran in the 80s.
D1 X Skunch #4 and A1 X Skunch #4
Skunch #4 was an Early fast to flower Male that I had been given pollen from another breeder in 23 to Cross with the Very Last of the Old Beans Feminized that where planted last year.
This was a last minute Pollination to try and save some of the Genealogy from the old stock. From several plants only two had limited viable beans collected. Clones were saved for the one selected.

D1 was Sativa leaning
tempImage8iPm9v.jpg tempImage9vVyFd.jpg

and D1 was a Indica leaning Pheno from the garden
tempImageN8zBwO.jpg tempImageJM8z2a.jpg
I have 8 phenos that are now Moms collected from last years run. But holding off until sometime later.

Grandpa's Cookies (Ethos Genetics)

Outdoor Certified (2nd Week of October) Indoor 7 to 9 Weeks
The nose on these flowers really stands out. Classic cookie alongside some really exotic spices like sandalwood. Contended for our best yield of very large, easily trimmed flowers. In a year where growers reported more Septoria Brown spot than usual this plant proved to be maybe the resistant.

Blight Resistance Level: Very High THC 29% Indica Dominate

Queens Cookies (Queen of the North Genetics)

Outdoor Certified (1st Week of October) Indoor 7 to 9 Weeks
We crossed our most blight resistant strain, Ethos Grandpas Cookies with our earliest and most terpene filled strain, our Cherry West from Freeborn selections. The results are an extremely early and blight resistant strain with incredibly complex terpenes that range from gasses to sweet and spicy.

Blight Resistance Level: High THC 25% Indica Dominate

Brunch Breath (Dirty Bird Genetics)

Outdoor Certified (Late September) Indoor 7 to 9 Weeks
Peanut Butter Breath x Mimosa. We were so impressed with Thug Pugs peanut butter breath that we decided to give this cross by Dirty Bird a try.

Blight Resistance Level: High THC 27% Sativa Dominate

SKUNCH

Genetics: (Skunk Hero Rbx x The Brunch F1)
Cannabis Type: Indica Hybrid
Flowering Time: 55-60 days
Yield: Very High
Plant Morphology: Get your stakes and trellises ready for Skunch. With giant Skunk buds and the beauty and vigor of the Brunch, this strain will reward growers with an easy grow and phenomenal yield. Expect a moderate stretch when switching to bloom. Every branch wants to become a cola, so do her a favor and top her a few times. Not much defoliation is needed – just removing dead leaves seems sufficient to promote good air flow.
Height: Medium
Density: High
Terpenes: Skunky and fruity. Expect a peanut butter smell to come out when curing.
Effect: If you’re looking to get a little bit useless and a lot a bit stoned, reach for Skunch. This strain is a slightly indica leaning hybrid. The Skunk Hero Rbx mother provides a heavy body high, relaxation, and pain relief. The Brunch provides a strong euphoric cerebral high and anxiety relief. An absolute great choice for relaxing at home or enhancing an adventure; you’ll just want to be out adventuring already, otherwise you might forget what you’re supposed to be doing. With smoke as thick as the buds, toke with caution!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Cannabis TypeIndica Hybrid
Flowering Time (Indoor)8 – 9 weeks

MACMO

Breeder: Dirty Bird Genetics
Genetics: Mac 1 x Elmo’s Army
Cannabis Type: Sativa Hybrid
Flowering Time: 60-65 days
Yield: High
Plant Morphology: MacMo grow and looks very similar to the Mac 1, but with increased vegetative vigor from the Elmo’s Army, you can grow an army of Macs from only 1 plant. Topping this plant allows for multiple beautiful colas to grow beautiful pale green buds with covered with frosty white crystals and hairs, along with tints of purple in the calyxes and leaves.
Density: Medium/High
Terpenes: Musky, spicy, and a bit fruity. Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Linalool are most prevalent.
Effects: MacMo is a strong and long-lasting sativa hybrid. Expect a powerful head high with a relaxing body buzz. While the MacMo is great fuel for the daytime, smoking too much of this strain may leave you couch locked.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Cannabis TypeSativa Hybrid
Flowering Time (Indoor)9 weeks

Apple Blossom Humboldt Original Strain

Apple Blossom is a heavily selected cross of two of our earliest and most popular varietals, Blueberry Muffin x Dream Queen. This combo combines both one of our most unique and favorable terpene profiles (BBM) with one of our highest producing lines (DQ). Apple Blossom produces dense trichome covered flowers, with hints of blue and purple. A warm, delicate floral scent with notes of sweet apple hits just right, leaving you with an uplifting and energizing high. This is a strain any mother can love

Removing some Sick Troubled trees away from the Garden.

tempImageDPVEP9.jpg
This one needed some Gentle Persuasion as it was a Heavy Leaner towards the Fence.

tempImageK84tGb.jpg

And another one Killed.
tempImagexH9d92.jpg

It's too bad after all these years Nurturing these 5 Apple Trees that their fate was to come to this.
These where removed to try and suppress any nearby Septoria related issues.

Late outdoor pollination with cold temps and no shortage of rain produced very little beans, And despite allowing 6 weeks to mature there was only 4 beans that have made it this far. BF9E531A-CFDF-413B-A3D3-7CDB12536A56.jpeg
The rest either didn't Crack or if they manage to pop a tail they stopped Dead in their tracks.

Wow a beautiful garden! Im perty envious. Must be great sitting there and watching the plants grow. That's sad about the apples though! I do a lot of tree planting and am starting to graph my own. Seems like a needed move though.
It was needed, but sad indeed. Some of them were over 50 years old when I was counting the growth rings.
We had a Sever Drought several years ago, that had decimated the root zone and they were never able to make a full recovery.
There is 6 more than what I've already taken that are being removed soon.

Didn't get much done yesterday,
We had the Grandchildren along with the Great Grandchildren over for Brunch.
Managed to get the irrigation back into place after they left.
I'll have to do my Soil Drench tomorrow.

With all the Hard-lines assembled it was time to get the rest of the Kit ready.
tempImageb5bbsC.jpg tempImageP1IlGR.jpg
I purchased a tank cover this year to help prevent algae from forming. For the most part I don't have much algae formation as the 275 gall tank gets recirculated twice a week. Tea & Water every 3rd to 4th Day.
If when I do notice any Signs of algae, Peroxide mixed with the water takes care of keeping the inside clear and sparkling.
I lucked out and had Good fitment with my previous pluming already installed.

With all the Soft lines in place it was getting late, So I called it a Day. tempImageczhdOW.jpg

Went and grabbed a couple yards of MOFGA Certified Compost today for the gardens. tempImagecMoqYQ.jpg
This was sourced from a local Organic Dairy Farm, Nicely aged and healthy looking !
tempImageuOSBHC.jpg

And finally got around to doing the Peroxide drenching. Soil was foaming really good as I saturated the Rings. tempImageJPdzpg.jpg tempImages2PqqU.jpg

Everything received a Bath, The Surrounding Lawn, Fencing & Post. Hopefully there will be less SEPTORIA this Year ! tempImageRppHZl.jpg

Calculated the amounts of Dry amendments that I will be adding tomorrow.
All the measurements are based of each ring containing 12.56 Ft3
tempImageim8iux.jpg
With rain coming, I'm in hopes of completing everything tomorrow and get it COOKING !
June is only a month away.
