Got the plants staked up with a little LST. I have to clean them up before I flip, and if all works out I'll take some cuttings of each for my homie to keep for me.

My homie likes to chuck some crosses and we have shared seeds and made a cross before together called Sloth Loves Chunk (Ace Seeds Panama x Coastal seeds Panama mutant male) that turned out rad. It was a chunky Ace Panama crossed with the Coastal Seeds Panama Red mutant male (Sloth). If the cannabinoid reports from the breeders are correct, this cross potentially has thc, thcv, cbd, cbg....a nice cocktail. Here's a shot of some flower he gave me from his keeper:

If the flowers from these plants come out well, maybe we will make another fun chuck. Hope all is well in your gardens bruddahs and sistahs
Here's a hump day jam for ya

Foliared some micros/cal mag/nanosurfactant, saw a little issue on the uppermost leaves.

I just leave the fans running and turn the lights down to min until the leaves dry. That nanosurfactant really keeps the droplets flat and the foliar stays on nicely. I think I'll let the plants recoup for a few days then turn it to 12/12 boo yah

Saved some cutting just to try the water clone method. I'm waiting on a small led grow light to keep them on 18/6, but in the meantime they are chilling with the mother plants in a makeshift "humidity dome". I put a little water in each cup and misted the inside of the bag and covered with a few layers of plastic wrap to diffuse the light.

Hoping in a few weeks I'll have roots. Anyone else try this yet?

Wednesday 2/7

Ended up passing the cuttings to my friend so I won't be doing the cup clone method this time. Anyway since those cuttings are outta here, I changed the schedule to 12/12 so tonight begins flower. I took a few fans from the OSG and TK but left the trainwreck leaves alone; instead I supercropped the 4 mains for a more even top.

Officially on day 4 flower.

Girls seem to be liking the smaller more frequent waterings. In the prior grows I was watering at .75 gal per plant per watering (7 gal pots), usually on every 3rd day. This grow I have been splitting one gallon between the 3 plants, and watering every 2nd day. So far it's been working out with a lot less leaf issues, real happy with the health this round. Finally feel like I'm getting close to dialing in how to grow in this tent, def different than outdoor growing.

Been doing a little defol/supercropping/lst to shape the plants a bit, will probably clean out the lower fans too, but pretty clean in there and ready to pump out the BUDS.

I left mine in beer stubby bottles outside in summer next to a shed and it took about 3 weeks to have roots. Plain tap water and left alone and forgotten. They were a little worse for wear ( due to me)

but ended up working out.

That's some high level do-nothing gardening heh
Good info, I'll keep that in mind for the next time. Thanks for sharing, stop by anytime

Monday 2/19

The plants are doing well and have all set some proper buds. Been continuing with the watering/feedings every other day, but I've upped it to 1.5 gal since they are drinking more. I've also reduced the 16-0-0 today and pushed the ratio in favor of the 5-10-10., and will cut out the 16-0-0 completely next feeding.

Trainwreck has started developing more purple striping on the branches and deeper coloring of the petioles. Looks to start budding quicker than the other plants.
20240219_190934.jpg

Old School Glue has a nice manageable structure and looks like it won't need much support, and the least stretch.
20240219_190821.jpg

Triangle Kush S1 is stretching and trying to catch the Trainwreck. I wish I had tried harder to spread her out because the combination of stretchy growth and big fans is making it more high maintenance. Although when I was training in veg, the branches were tough almost to the tips, so I'll know better next time.

I will probably only do defoliation from here on out unless something is getting out of control. Time to watch buds grow. Hope all your gardens are happy and healthy neighbors!

It's day 14 of flower. Stretch seems to be pretty much over, and any upward growth will be just from the buds building. So I raised the height of the Triangle Kush S1 and Old School Glue with my trusty 2 part Trim bin, so useful ha. Got a fairly even canopy now ta da

Here was my favorite pure arcata TW. Absolute fire man . Real rare menthol stale lime locker room funk . Lost it when I caught the crabs . I have another small one going now . It was my last seed in that pack. TW will get real real floppy on you . Floppiest strain I've ran ....... But there is fire to be found

Thursday 3/14

35 days into flower. All the ladies are funking up the tent and frosting up nicely. In general I fed a bit heavy and cranked the lights up too high, the TW and OSG let me know fairly quickly but the TK showed relatively mild symptoms. I have since backed off and the plants are happy.

GPS/Rootseller Seeds Old School Glue
Continues to chunk up. She will def yield the heaviest. Real vigorous in veg with a very manageable stretch. Looks like she is finishing quicker than the other two. Got that old school look too, I swear I was smoking some buds that had those short light orange pistils and light green bud way back.

Twenty20Mendocino Trainwreck

Hard to get a good pic cause she is in the back, but she is looking good, the colas closest to the light have that yellow color probs cause I had the lights cranked and fed too much. The trichome coverage is nice and dense on the buds and sugar leaves, has the curliest pistils evah. Here's a bud off one of the main colas.

Keeping that darker green and has some real fat trichs. She be greasy. I like the amount of stretch and the resilience to stress. Next time I will try to open it up a little more or prune harder because there are big ass leaves and the lateral branching goes vertical.

Got some yoyos around the perimeter and down the middle support bar of the tent.....because that Trainwreck is gonna go flop city. Think it'll be a good addition down the line to my plant training game.

Hope everyone's gardens are pushing out the good buds and vibes!
