Harvested all 3 plants yesterday morning on day 72 of flower.
The Nature Farm Red Pakistani began throwing more bananas than I've ever seen the last few days, it was a real pain in the ass and lowered my excitement for it honestly. The flowers smelled really dank and the nugs are rock hard. The lowers are a lot more photogenic than the tops, and allow you to actually see the buds as they aren't blanketed in fucking pistils like the tops (forgot to take pics of the lowers lol). Pathetic yields. Will def be head stash. Could be the pheno I got as I only had one female, but unless the smoke is life changing I won't run it again.

Really pleased with how the Sanctuary Gardens Diesel Stomper turned out. Easy grower with great looking and smelling buds. Still retained the tropical fruit musk dankness, but now with an added acidic grapeness...cool.

The Bodhi Air Guitar pumped out nice frosty loud lime/pine/floral/sour vapor smelling buds, and yielded the most by far.

All in all I am happy with the grow, and more lessons learned as always. Now I look forward to the dry/cure and smoke reports to follow. Irie vibes

amazing harvest , plants look great bro :)

Here's the drying set up in the tent.

Bought an elastic scrog net and set that up with a little extra support.

I have a super big portable ac unit off some dude on Craigslist. It's a dual exhaust ac that can keep large rooms cool, lol....it's like using a cannon to shoot an ant, but it brings the temp/humidity down really good and fast af in there. I MacGyver'd up a trash bag to fit over the exhaust and feed it into the 4 inch duct into the tent, haha.
If I set it at 61f (lowest setting) the tent will get down to 55-57f. I have a little dehumidifier/ humidifier and oscillating fan all fighting in there. Keeps me pretty fucking close to 60/60, and I do that for usually 10 - 12 days.

Hope everyone had a dankfull Danksgiving. I know I'm thankful to have a supportive community of fellow growers I can call neighbors. Thanks for all of you that help me feel welcome.
Went on IG and saw that Santa Cruz Goat Farms had posted a shot of a Blue Diesel cut he lost but used to run for awhile.
Looked pretty familiar to the Diesel Stomper (BCD x GS x OG) I ran. Genetics are cool

Starting up Round 2 of making BUD at Buddy B's. Variety is the name of the game, once again I have 3 strains from 3 breeders. This time I'm making it easy on myself and going with fem seeds, so less plants to take care of and a faster culling process.
Feeling nostalgic for the 90s herb I was smoking in SoCal in my youth.....in the 90s ha

Here's the menu:

Twenty20Mendocino Arcata Trainwreck (Arcata cut x T-Dub)

Greenpoint Seeds Old School Glue (Black Domina/Skelly HP x GG4)

Cannaventure Triangle Kush S1 (TK x TK)

Was stoked to find 8 seeds in the pack of Pure TK! A real pleasure to order from Rusty's business.
Started 3 seeds of each strain this morning in the soil from last grow, with some Dynomyco sprinkled into the planting holes.

Each of these strains should bring frost, terps/flavor, and relatively large yields, while smoking hard like the classics do. Chee hu!

TK#3 and OSG#1 popped ground tonight, taking 3 days .

20231205_212052.jpg

Got word tonight the chemist who ran the extraction lab I used to work in, and taught me everything I know about it, overdosed on opioids. It's too sad, he left behind a family. Bless those 215 days, we had it better. RIP JC, I'll be smoking one in your memory homie

All 9 seeds sprouted and are healthy.

Yay now we just wait.
Gonna do the solo ->2 gallon grow bags (selection) -> 7Gal fabric pots again.
Dunno if I'm gonna do cages , stakes, or screen this time.
In the meantime, I have the soil from last round that's been sitting in fabric pots outside on the patio. I took most of the roots out and broke up the remaining roots. Makes the soil fluffy. I moistened it, and topdressed Bu's compost, which happened to have a bunch of worms in it. Then I topressed Perfect Blend Organic 4-4-4 biotic fertilizer (egg laying chicken manure base)Perfect Blend Organic 4 4 4 Fertilizer | RMBA. The disc shaped pellets are sulfur, which keeps the ph at 6.5. It is awesome stuff but it smells, and I only use it in my soil mix now that I'm indoors. I then covered it and let it sit a few days.

I'll let this die down a bit before mixing in gypsum and letting it sit until I plant the final 3 plants.

Get high and play this chill jam

Got the plants in the 2 gal grow bags, but it's more like a gal of soil in each. I'll be selecting one from each group.
The Twenty20 Trainwreck are very uniform. Will be easy to pick from the Greenpoint Old School Glue, already see one that is a standout. The Cannaventure Triangle Kush all look good. Gonna wait another week before I pick the winners to transfer to the final pots.

Sunday 1/7

Transplanted the final picks to 7 gal pots yesterday. Today I topped them and cut 2-3 nodes off. I will give them another day or two to see how they handled it until I prune them again down to two nodes, for four 4 mains.
Seems my current soil mix really promotes root growth and the plants tend to get unhappy unless I transplant to bigger containers right away. Maybe I will experiment with sprouting in the grow bags and ditch the solos next time.

Trainwreck - all 3 of the plants were nearly identical in structure (short internodes/petioles/compact) and leaf shape. I picked the one with a slightly stronger smelling stem rub. Even the leaves are smaller than the other two plants. But I'm expecting a big stretch in flower.
20240107_120840.jpg

Triangle Kush S1 - never had the clone so nothing to compare it to, seen some veg pics of Caleb's clone via Mota, but alternating node shots don't help much. Anyway, this plant was healthy and I liked the structure, sure it'll be good.
20240107_120825.jpg

Old School Glue (Black Domina/Skelly x GG4) - There was this plant that is the most vigorous plant of all nine, and she had two mutant sisters, so easy to pick.
20240107_120848.jpg

Hell yeah, I'm happy to have selection out of the way, always get nervous if I possibly picked wrong, you know growing from seed with one tent problems. But now I got a homie that is willing to hold clones for me if I want, which is a new option for next time I'm excited about. Hope all your gardens are killing it ohana

Beautiful plants dude . I have a couple of those triangles going too , a little smaller than yours . Is the Trainwreck from Cannaventure too ? I found some flame in his pure arcata . I love Cannaventure . Rusty is a cool ass dude .
Thanks @sleazyB
Actually these are Twenty20Mendocino Aracata cut x T-Dub (their trainwreck version). Seems people really like their version and from what I've seen they are frost af and drooping all over, so looking legit. I saw those TW from Rusty and wanted them but I already had these in the queue. I ended up getting his Albert Supertramp ( Albert Walker x Arcata) just cause I wanted to try his TW cross....but I will get his Arcata, especially after your recommendation! That Santa Cruz Goat Farm has some cool looking TW crosses too, and shows off the clone plant, buds looking real good.
Will look forward to seeing how your TKs end up, I really am thinking of the ones I pulled, wished I had a bigger tent ha

I'll be following along dude . If you check out my thread the first couple pages had some nice shots of the Cannaventure TW. I've grown out a bunch of his strains if you ever have any questions . I had a few keepers but I had to shut things down do to broad mites recently . Gonna make me a nice order at tax time lol. Your plants look great man

After I topped the plants on the 7th the next day I pruned off the lower growth tips, just leaving the fans. I let them recover for a few days, then yesterday I began to LST the growth tips so I don't run into too much crowding. I'm going to prune shit hard this round because I don't want any mess this time. Just nice nugs getting good light and air circulation. I'll add my stakes around the sides a little later.

Trainwreck is still lagging behind the other two in vigor, but healthy. Seems to be hitting stride and catching up a little. Has a lighter green color to the leaves.
20240113_105005.jpg

Triangle Kush S1, I'm excited for this one. Looking good, big fans. Her and the other TKs I was growing droop when it's nite nite time, then perk up during the day. Likes magnesium.
20240113_104955.jpg

Old School Glue is a big strong girl, big ol fans, can take anything it seems. Also likes that magnesium.

Rolled up some Diesel Stomper and went on a hike earlier today

Gonna use some kief from the t shirt screen and roll a hashy joint for later on 20240113_165157.jpg
The kief is from all three of the plants mixed.
The Diesel Stomper has a complex flavor, heady stone with a little in the legs good shit to stay loose - going out tonight with the lady, kids at the g units for the night...chee

Wednesday 1/24

Getting ready to add stakes and let them veg another week before flipping.

Trainwreck has got the height with the other two, but the growth is sparse in comparison. When I transplanted the TW it had a much smaller root system than the other plants. Looks to be a stretchy plant, hope it has the bones to push large flowers...we will see.
20240124_071259.jpg

Triangle Kush is the shortest plant with the biggest fans, gonna have to defol for sure. Growth is thick and strong, super dark green leaves.
20240124_071314.jpg

Old School Glue is a beast, leaves about as big as the TK, but the branches are even thicker and she is crowding the other two.
