I took a chance running this but it looks like its gonna work out hows things going on your grow ? ill have to check it out
they're progressing. i got the tent running again, need to pull a second clone so that both sites have a plant. still need to set up the scrog frame too. figured i'd hold off on that till the plants are ready for it though, it'll make doing anything in the tent a bit more difficult.

You have a good point once the scrog is set your option for performing a lot of tasks is gone I notice a lot of grows are centered for pheno hunting instead of production & of course run multiple plants as well as strains whereas I differ in the fact that when I find something I like it's on & cracking and production orientated my 3x3 differs in the fact I never run more than 2 plants but in the 4x4 I run multiple plants to cut my veg time ai made a statement when I started this thread where It was said I havent ran multiple plants but what I should of clarified is I havent ran more than 2 plants since going over to led under hps I've ran up to 12 plants in a 4x4 area only been running tents for about 3 years now & still getting the 4x4 up to speed I'm gonna try 4 plants instead of 6 in the future

yeah, exactly. my biggest rub with running multiple plants, without some kind of decent canopy management, is a lot of extra airspace between plants. I feel it's wasteful, and especially for a 4x4 where you should be pulling at least 2lbs a harvest, it doesn't make sense to not have some kind of canopy uniformity. Lighting hitting the floor doesn't make buds.

i'm doing a phenohunt now, but approaching it by way of taking clones, running the clones through flower, and on to the next plant. whatever is really special, especially on the production and effect front, will be kept. i really don't want to take the hit on final numbers like i did with my first run in my 4x4, that hurt (right at a 1/2lb). hence, two plants under a scrog, in hydro. see if we can hit it out of the park this time.

My thoughts exactly I hit 11 oz with this light in a 3x3 I figure this first run in the 4x4 I'll chalk up to the learning curve but it's time to make it happen
