I went to an urgent care center today because the pain was unbearable to the point where I felt primal rage about to kick in and I can't do that to my family. Sat there forever in excruciating pain. Got seen by a really nice doc and she did her tests, about tore my calf muscle and asked whats your pain level. 10 I whimpered because I had no energy left in my body because of this shit. She comes back with a shot in my arse and a script for flexiril. She wouldn't give me a narcotic pain killer, not even a prescription strength ibuprofen to ease my pain(which I rarely take) because she said she's not allowed because it's a back injury and they have no exray machines to prove I'm really in pain and not a drug seeking addict. I'm so fucking disgusted right now I can't even sleep plus the pain is worse than ever. I don't know that I'll ever be able to use this leg again. I will crawl like Ivar the Boneless if I have to lol.

I finally fell asleep, or passed out from pain around 5. Had to get up at 6 to get the kids ready for school. Good thing they are old enough to where I just have to play armchair quarterback. Leg still doesn't work. When I walk it's like a cowboy after riding cross country on a horse with no break. Wife is on her way to the dispensary for some 1:1 topical cream and a gram of jenny kush distillate. If that doesn't help I don't know what will. Thank you to everybody that puts up with my pain filled rants. I'm gonna look back on this journal one day for strength if this happens again. ☮☯️

I was also wanting to give back to the community for all that has been done for me. For starters I have an extra 100w QB with dimmer switch that I'll never use. I bought one two many back in February. I just opened the box to test it. It will work good in a 2x2 as a veg light for multiple plants or to flower a single plant in a 2x2 or used as supplemental lighting in a bigger tent. It's a simple light but it does the job. I'll be doing this the first week of September so if anybody is in hard times or just simply needs an extra light post here and if enough people are interested then we'll do a quick number draw contest. Everything will be on us including shipping. I have to limit it to the U.S. though as I've never shipped anything out of country and we'll be on a limited budget for the shipping. I've tried everything from horse liniment, 1000mg Tylenol+800mg ibuprofen. Good luck nothing really helps but I can't do opioids or alcohol. Stay strong brother

My wife is totally on board with this too. She agrees with me that we're gonna do 3 of these giveaways total. October will be something nice to keep all that nice smell from your neighbors and in November, which should be a great month for us I was thinking of a grow kit that will include almost everything one needs to start a small grow. Nutrients, big block of coco coir, grow bags, a gift card to buy your soil locally because that shit is expensive to ship. Duct booster fan, clip on fan, rope ratchets etc. Each giveaway will also have a pack or two of some Bad Dawg freebies since I have plenty of those. This is all a rough draft so far but one thing is certain. We will be paying it forward very soon. ☮☯️

I've been clean from heroin for 22 years and last night was the first time I had the thought cross my mind since I recovered. I wouldn't actually do it but the pain was so excruciating I couldn't help it. I take kratom for pain control and it does work pretty good if you find the right mix of powder leaf. We are going to order 2 plants next month and grow our own since the FDA is trying to ban it after the DEA failed in 2016. It's so stupid. I've been taking it for 6 years to help with my degenerative disc and not once had a negative side effect. It's like an expresso with the pain relief properties of a norco. Also, My friend hooked me up with some tramadols and tinazidine because the urgent care center didn't ever send my script to my pharmacy and wants me to come back and sit there and be seen all over again because they never put my info in the computer after I left. They just said fuck that guy and forgot all about me. So the steroid I was supposed to get to help with the inflammation they won't give me unless I'm seen all over again and that was a 4 hour ordeal chock full of coughing unmasked sick covid patients. Im going for a test in a few days just to make sure they didn't infect me. There was maybe 2 dozen infected in a cram packed waiting room. Nobody cares anymore and it's really fucking sad. I told them where to shove their extra unnecessary appointment and that's that lmao

Just some randoms from when my wife fed everything earlier. The autos are getting super chunky since I flipped to 12/12 a week ago. Thrips still own the lower leaves. They aren't having any effect on the autoflowers bud quality so that's a good thing. Purple biscauto is rocking it out on day 27. My wife chose this one to grow and only her hands have touched it. The other big plants in the 5 gallon felt bags are very slowly doing there thing. I told her she can train the ones in the 2 gallon white bags any way she wants. She's bending them to the extreme too. Some of the big ones are starting to crown so it's almost showtime. Just a few more days for the Ck2 and about 7-10 days on the whiskey. Then it's time to rehang the lights with just a couple rope ratchets so I can raise my lights an extra foot. I hate those wire hangers for leds. They take away too much headroom☮

Random pics on day 7 of flower. She got the trellis installed and tomorrow she's gonna lower it and weave the branches into the grids. I was gonna put 4 plants in there but once they are trellised in they'll probably/hopefully fill the tent. The purple biscauto is going in the 4x4 when the ck2 finishes up in there.

It's been a rough day pain wise. I burned through that 2 ounces of lotion in 2 days and that shit works like magic. I'm glad I know how to handle depression because this shit is depressing as hell. That being said, just coming to this site and seeing everybody's hard work, beautiful plants, extreme kindheartedness etc. helps to get me past the worst of it. I've never met any of you or talked in person and that doesn't matter because the way y'all do things here makes me feel like we're all a big family....a very supportive family too. Thank you to everybody here for being the awesome people that you are. ☮

Nothing to thank anyone for, amigo. I'm certain that everyone that knows the troubles you're experiencing wishes we could find a cure for you ... a switch that would turn off the pain, or at least get you some respite now and then. That this site gives you some distraction is a credit to the people who created and run it, and those they allow to populate it, including you and the Mrs.

2 weeks into this injury and my wife is still holding it down like a champ. 2 weeks ago she didn't know a lick about growing. She knew how important it was to me to make our own medicine so she learned as fast as she could, on the fly, listened to all of my advice and all without a single solitary complaint. And she's been taking care of me like the best nurse I've ever had. She's the best. Here's her work.

I wanted to wait a few hours after I woke up before I told y'all that I'm doing way better today. I had to make sure my body wasn't playing tricks on me. These steroids work great. Got me feeling like super jimmy lmao. I can walk short distances without being in excruciating pain, barely any cramping and I actually slept all night for the first time in 3 weeks. I know it's not over yet though and I could easily go backwards so the only thing I'm adding to my daily regimen is a couple minutes on the exercise bike per day. I'll be back to normal life in 2-3 weeks. My wife said she might not want me to lay my hands on her plants, jokingly of course. Hope everyone has a great day!

Last night while looking over the plants my wife noticed that both mothers milks had shot up 6 inches overnight and looked funny on top compared to the others. She took them out of the trellis and brought them up. They played me like a fool, 2 beautiful boys covered in big ole juicy nuts. Luckily none of the pods had opened and I culled them immediately. She was pretty upset. It's my fault I told her. I misidentified what looked like early female preflowers and what you did was save the whole grow. Not that I wouldn't have loved a bunch of mothers milk crosses but we need the medicine more than anything right now, seed making is for next year. It always sucks when this happens but left a few more days and everything would have went to seed. Good catch wifey.

The only 2 that have not showed sex are the only 2 reg seed plants left, Starberry pie and Grapezilla. They were flipped early though while they were still pretty small so it'll be another week or so. Usually it takes an extra week or two for them to show sex compared to the bigger plants that showed sex within 10 days or so. Even if they are both males we still have glue sniffer s1, pupilstan, c99xsunshine4, monkey juice, topanga canyon and the purple biscauto. Im just happy to have some good looking ladies that are starting to do their thing. The big whiskey zulu gets the chop tonight. The last cantaloupe kush has a few days left and the last smaller whiskey zulu I'm gonna take another week or so. She's really bulking up but still a lot of white pistils for day 81. I'll have a bunch of pictures to upload later. I hope everyone has a great day!

I think I slipped another disc while I was sleeping. Woke up in the worst pain of my life. Nothing for pain either because illinois canceled my wife's underemployment checks, which she only got one of. Seems you can get underemployment if you're on short term disability but you need to check the box available to work instead of not able to work. They even want her to pay the one check they gave her back or they threatened to brick her checks and she's not even working because she can barely use her arm. This is so fucked. Everybody around us gets these damn checks without issue and are able to work but won't. Everybody but us and we don't have a penny to our name. Rant over. Fuck this state.

I feel for you mate . I’m in pain every day as well and if I get 5-6 hours sleep in a night that’s a good night . We are still treated like criminals in Oz ?? for weed use which does my head in . I’m a high functioning individual in a high stress job who has gained the respect of my co workers by example yet am hindered by archaic laws that deny me the only thing that actually allows me to get a solid pain free sleep so I either risk a poorly timed drug test or I live on Opiates which I’m more than familiar with . Sometimes you do everything right and it still turns out wrong . No wonder some lose their shit ?‍♂️
