And Fire ye shall receive…

Trimming this week, here’s 2 different Jungle Macs.
Both creamy deliciousness but this one has a chemical extra that smacks you in the face like an old lady’s perfume. 231DB0F7-D13A-4BEC-A6D3-F08D503CE1DF.jpeg

Tighter nugs and mostly creamy with a hint of that Fire Og. These are both so damn tasty.

Googly,
I had a few start with some curled leafs, but they grow out of it.
I killed one trying to remove stuck shell, lost one to damping off. I believe i overwatered it.
I need a better way to remove the stuck shell and membrane when it happens,
I am not gentle enough with tweezers.

If anyone has any tips, I'd love to learn a better way. If there is one.

I like to get the helmet wet, just a drop of water to moisten it up, then use a dull xacto blade, or even a sewing needle to pry it off. You can use the tweezers to steady it as well.

Nice brother those look great. Give the Pinks & Purples another shot, maybe try the germination method above.
Here are the Pinks & Purples. Left them covered for about a day and a half and then put the lights on them. This is about 3-4 days later. They look super healthy with about 50% purple stems. The hard part is to cut them down but that's what I gotta do.

One of the best tips I ever got for germinating is to line the seeds up with the tail end pointing down. If you position the zip lock back so that the tail end is pointing down you don't get any of the curling of the tails, it's a gravity thing. If I was popping a $500 pack this is exactly what I would do to avoid any curling. This is the Amoretto Sour that smelled pretty amazing.

I've also heard to wait a day after applying the water drop...
Thank you,
I was just typing that I probably need to wait awhile , after getting it wet. Lol
The shrink wrap membrane, is what I realy struggled with.
I can't hardly see it, and never can quite get under it to remove.

I also think I need one of those stand up magnifying glasses , so I can actually see what I'm doing.

In my observation, the water helps the membrane to swell and push itself off the cots. The next day, you’ll notice the cots have grown some too. (I use bottled spring water so it isn’t stripped of everything like R.O).
I try to let the cots absorb any remaining nourishment left in the membrane that hasn’t been taken up yet (a seed has everything a seedling needs to initiate growth), so the waiting a day isn’t the end of the world, but can be a huge benefit if the seedling wasn’t quite ready yet.

My fault, I sent @Bodean on a “accidentally on purpose” quest for a small Modified Grape cut and he went for the whole thing.

There's a dank hoarder in Michigan with some killer cuts as well...it's Cheetah Piss for breakfast over here.

Gonna send a big packet up to Canada next week that'll have enough packs for a few people. Gonna just send it all to OldG and ask if he'll dole them out from there in case we have some others that are interested.

For the membrane, I pinch til i just feel the slightest pressure from the fingers on the cotys and give it a very gentle rub. It usually comes free.
I appreciate the advice.
I was only giving it 5 minutes or so after wetting.
I guess I need to work on my patience.

Its funny, I can wait for months while they grow, but I get in a hurry ,
When it comes to starting them.

I learned something today, so at least it wasn't wasted.
Peace
