This is what didnt go. Everything is solid except Gherry 03, it smooshed. Gherry 02 may have stalled out; might still go, I see the cotys, but they aint doing much.
That being said... My germ rates appear to be garbage this go.
So when planting squash (which can become stuck easily do to their size) seeds the general rule is plant them sideways, sideways... So veritical, not flat. This allows them to open without wedging the husk in such a way that they cotyledons cant emerge. With the soil blocks I press them just enough to have positive contact, they arent actually buried. So to answer your question I put them pointy side down, but if I were to bury them Id put them pointy side sideways with the seam of the husk running a vertical orientation, hope that makes sense.

Tiny oscillator 2 ft away blowing on the lightbar/humidity dome above the plants, possible but unlikely. I suspect temps, mat was running a little warm, or moisture.

Flipped the reg Glues and the other fem photos. They are under 2x HLG135 RSpecs at 203w total right now that give them 11hrs each offset by a hour (so for the first and last hour they get 101.5w). Once they show sex everything will get new shoes based on its size (males culled), all 1gal Radicle Bags or 2gal Rain Science Bags.
I am in this weird space where I am trying to redefine how I grow. In years past it was always a single grow space, 4 fems, 3gal pots, a single topping with LST to form and even canopy, 4-6 week veg. Lately I find myself wanting to run higher plant counts and regs so I am exploring different cultivation models. I had thought to do 12/12 from seed on these Glues, but really just wanted to see them do their thing a little first, for all I know had I run them 12/12 from the start, they may look similar, perhaps Ill find out next time.

Blue: FG Gorilla Hammer (22 days veg)
Purple: CLG Purple Jelly Pie? (26 days veg)
Green: Eso's Orangeberry Smoothie (26 days Veg)
Yellow: Useful Bag Of Oranges (26 days veg)
This current cycle is the first time Ive grown an untopped and untrained plant and it has been a joy to watch. The variation they have shown I may have never discovered had I gone in there and started bending things to my will. Id like to set up perpetual harvests, 12/12 from seed or small potted autos may be something I play with.
Ultimately I am still figuring out what best suits my goals, needs, spaces, and style. Right now I am interested in growing out a bunch of strains to find stuff that works for my wife's health issues, Id then need to keep it or choose and hope to find it out a second time. I prefer seeds over clones for ease of storage. Id love to be able to effectively take a cutting at 16 days, root it in 7, then flower it, all before flipping its source, I feel like being able to do that may afford some opportunities for efficiency.
I saw some splitting calyxes (with seeds) on the lowers so I decided to pull one to check its progress; with as difficult as it was to remove there is no chance it was ready.
I dont ever want to have to reveg. Not terribly interested in breeding, curious like most. Ive got a couple of random chucks under my belt, but havent even germ tested it. At this point im thinking someday Id like to make fem auto chucks to help out friends and fam who are new to growing. Here are some plant starts for 4 different families we are doing some plant starts for this year.
Clones appear to be doing okay? I'll likely hit them with some BAS coconut, BAS Aloe, Ful-Power, and Agsil.

Still breathing. Things have happened. Things are happening.
8x of each. First time running @Amos Otis gear and first time wetting my first chuck. Bought this strain to honor my dog's life (Fiona), she has cancer and we thought her time was up this week, stopped eating for 3 days; She seems to be doing a little better, started eating today, but her fate sealed, her immediate future unknown. Missed the Fiona's Crack F2 before it sold out, but picked up 2 packs of Midnight Crack back last year sometime in anticipation of this ordeal.
Clones havent shown roots but they dont pull out easily and they started putting on new growth. Assuming they just havent grown out of the block yet. Hit them with some Pacific Gro Ocean Hydrolysate w/ Bio Char.
Table looks like this, had some bare root Boysenberry plants on the left from Baker Creek show up. Waiting on 5x (4x cultivars) raspberries as well. Thatll bring our berry bush/cane count to 13x.

These look like this so far. Everything got dry af, been dealing with a lot lately. Things got away from me for a couple days. Everything bounced back, but resulted in some lower leaf damage.
Flipped these today.
So now the cabinet looks like this...
JEMs are nearly there, pulled a couple to check them. Anvil needs more time. All 3 indoor Anvils were hit with pollen as well and each looks more impressive than this one for their own reasons. The JEMs definitely do not handle transplant well, as stated in the description.

Update on the 8x of each, Amos' Midnight Crack, Frim's Blackberry Bread, and my first experimental chuck, Peyote Critical x Mr. Iyotu. Mine are left and top center, Frim's are right and bottom center, Amos' are in the small tray on the right.
Harvested the JEM 05 and 08 seed mothers. They were hit with JEM pollen from 3 males, and were grown outdoors once sexed indoors.
Garden is chugging.
Broke down and picked up some Clonex to take back up copies of nearly everything on the table. Didnt take cuts of the stretchy GH, or any of the Gorilla Zees (I have 46x of those seeds to hunt if I want to look for something there later).
Got these rolling. Couple looked DOA. They are living outside now in some 1020 trays for now.

The one that went is a looker. One stalled out, and 2 didnt go. Some of the seeds looked like they had moisture exposure, perhaps during transit, I threw one out but kept the other 12.
I had poor germ rates that round, 50% on 14 starts, the next round I had 100% germ on 24 starts, so its very likely I just dropped the ball. I kept a few back from flip, your Gherry, 2x Starfighter Zee, and 2x White Widow FAST, thats why it wasnt pictured here previously.
The Gherry was consistently the largest of that round of starts until flip. I have 8 more seeds to try again, and with this latest package plenty of your gear to run for the rest of the year (I managed to get 4x Tangie99s from Idlewilder that Im excited about). Im running these PCxIyotu now to see if they are worth sharing, and Ill wet a test run of JEM and Anvil in a couple weeks once Im certain these seeds are dry. I have 4 seeded cultivars of Anvil, 2 are wide and branching af with good calyx to leaf ratios with golf ball sized nugs, the other 2 cultivars are a much more laterally compact and have less side branching but massive main kolas and darker green thicker foliage, so I am hoping to isolate both structures and incorporate them selectively into future projects, but I'll be the first to tell you I have no clue what Im doing.

Also I think the Gherry does take a few extra day's to start for some reason...they seen to stall out for a wk then start up... when they get about 3 inches..

That plant I reveg , some of the seeds started to open on a few of the buds...
I didn't clean out anything cause I run all..
I had 3 of those restart but the mice got them...
I'll get you a full yellow thing full of the Gherry and a clear one of the T99 out to you so you have them...

Did a deep watering last night, pulled the closet out and put it on the deck to wrap up (it was all running long and I need the space) and get some UV. I took a bunch of pics last night but Im celebrating today. Heres a quick shot of the Anvils in the sun.
1 of the Anvils had 1 assassin bug egg cluster on it, the other had 3. Glad to know these guys are established in my grow spaces, I transferred some from the egg clusters onto the Cabinet plants before moving them outside.
Couple shots to see structure, not trichome dense but I suspect thats in large due to them being so heavily seeded, and my short comings as a grower. I love the structure on 3 and 5.
03 has denser trichome coverage, and also looks like it has less seeds, this is a shot off 05 then 07. 07 looks very different than these 2. More pics to come.
