In Bloom
I will toss out a "Heads up" about dehumidifiers for you.
Many of the home grade dehums don't turn back on once you've turned the power supply off. So if your InkBird, or whatever controller you use, shuts the dehum off because the humidity is in the set zone, when the humidity rises again, and power to the plug is applied again, the dehum won't come back on.
You have to make sure that the unit comes back on when power is re-applied. I use a brand called Comfee (Midea is the manufacturer). My model works with my setup, because it comes back on. I fluked out when I bought it, not even having thought of this, so I want to warn people.
So, if you buy one from a store, ask them if they know. If not, ask if you can plug it in. If they let you, plug it in and turn it on. Give it a few seconds. Leave it powered on, but unplug it. Give it a second, then plug it back in. If it lights up, you're good to go. If it doesn't, you don't want that dehum on a controller. You can still use it, in a permanent fixed type setup where it just runs automatically, but you won't be able to control it's power state with an InkBird.
If you go thru Amazon, or online somewhere, check the reviews and check the FAQ/question section before buying. People often ask this question with dehums because many are in the same boat, and many are using them for cannabis growing. They may not want it running all the time and they want to control it, so you often see this question asked and answered.
