Yeah I just learned to stick to what I know from now on. Every time I try something new it doesn’t go very well. It’s all good though, I have plenty of seeds. Just sucks to waste a bunch I was really looking forward to.Man that sucks but chalk it up and move on. I've lost so many through the years but the worst is having seedlings and then mice/rats or even snails/slugs munch 'em down. I've had both happen. 2-3 weeks of dreams gone to waste and having to start again.
I've been using those with coco coir and pretty easy. I keep them wet until the seeds pop and there's enough oxygen in the coco to make it work.

and I always save them for starting seeds. I have no luck with the paper towel method and found this here works best for me.
The paper towel method works pretty well for me, I just don’t let the tap roots get too big, once they start poking out it’s straight to the dirt.
