Don't let me sit here and act like I am all that active either. I'm old with a lot to lose as well haha. I rarely piece anymore, but still catch tags as much as possible. Something about the ego and lacking it all at the same time. No one knows who I am, but I am up everywhere and I enjoy seeing it. I don't think I would run from a cop these days. Just take responsibility for my juvenile actions haha. Funny story: I actually got the chance to randomly talk to a city worker who was buffing one of my tags last year. I acted like a concerned citizen and he proceeded to explain to me about gang turfs and tagging and how my lady and I were probably in a turf war (she was up all around the same spot). I shook his hand and went on about my day. I came back by later and he was gone, so I bombed that shit again hahaha. My lady and I still joke about being in a gang war. I tend to have way more fun than I should at my age haha. Positive vibes..

I'll have to dig up the pic of the last time I had a run in with the buff man. Awok and I had smashed one of the busiest intersections in Albuquerque one night and were swinging through early morning the next day to catch flicks. Fuckers were already there. Still caught flicks, but pissed us both off that no other writers were going to see it. That was years ago.

Anyways, here's some work on my pacifier in the back yard from this year.

This was the first freight I ever hit

Bit further in life, at this point this was Church for us. Pisses me off, I only have flicks of a couple of the hundreds we painted.

Some crew work with Eaks and Phero (both VMK) in Durango, CO. Was butt hurt with this piece, didn't finish it.

AFAIK this is still running off of I-40 in Moriarty, NM.

And the buff man, getting ready to do his thing. Was entirely too fuckin drunk this night. Corner of Central and University in Albuquerque, NM. The worst part about it getting buffed -- that building was a fucking art studio at the time.

This was off of I-25 and Lead exit. Great highway spot. Awok was pissed, he thought we were throwing panels and I came with a burner style. Again, way too shitfaced that night. Pieces were massive. Five can fills, dusting those mofos. Two can outline + shadows. No force fields or extra shit.

This is a bit of a sore spot for Awok. His piece was painted over within a couple days. Mine ran for months... Not sure why, I can nitpick tf out of it. Rusto stock caps, ol' faithful ya know.

@Mohican what's your camera setup?

Considering buying a DSLR for the cannaphotos, just not sure where to begin

I use a Canon Rebel T5, it’s a basic DSLR and works well for my needs. If you get into buying lenses for different applications costs can sure add up. One option is to buy old lenses from the film era and get adapters to use them with your camera. You will be limited to manual focus and aperture adjustments, but can get rewarding images.

Much respect! Thank you so much for sharing! Again, I would never even claim to have ever been near the same level of writer as you or Awok haha. That shit is incredible. If my shit is even noticed at all for anything, it would just be for being everywhere in my city. Way more quantity over quality I guess you could say, these days especially, sadly enough haha. Thanks again for the flicks! Positive vibes...

“Anywhere can be home”
My wife first spotted this in 2013. We were under mandatory evacuation, due to spring flooding. She was stressed about (possibly) losing the house, and starting to ‘spiralout’.
This appeared to her at the right moment.
I had gone for a swim, when I returned , she was calm as a Hindu cow.
I checked it on our ‘border crawl‘ this summer , it is still there.

All gone 1 2 3.
They were still sorting the steel from the wood, when we arrived in town. Missed the topple by a couple days, I would say.

A loaded truck drives into bay door. It is always inclined, and a really intense sensation, being eaten by a black hole.
So much so, that someone would usually hop on to the step of the truck to act as eyes, and help ‘pilot’, until the driver regained vision. The grain was emptied by hand , until hydraulic lifts came around.
The building is called an ‘Elevator. The operator would grab a random sample, and all the old boys would get red in the face ‘grading’ the load ( to determine value and bin destination). It had to be settled before the lower hopper was full. That got hot sometimes.
From there, a conveyer of ‘shovels’ would elevate the grain to the top of the structure.
They have augers now , across the top distribute it horizontally . They must have relied on swing booms and gravity back in the day ? Shittywork. Before ‘the electricthose were flame lit.
Flame + grain dust = carbourated explosion
Ah well, the constant micro-dosing of Ergot must have helped pass the time.
