Went on one hell of an adventure yesterday……..to take food scraps to the compost pile! I should probably move it a little closer to the house for the winter months! Hahaha!!! It’s about 200 yards from the house and the snow is easily 24 inches deep. View attachment 192658
Last weekend after all the snow came, me and the girlfriend tried to walk down our trails through the woods. That was more of a workout than anything! We were able to snap a couple photos of the woods though. The first picture is my favorite. It’s a Cedar tree that is right next to our trail and with the snow on it, it looked so cool!
Yeah, it was a beautiful landscape, but the walk SUCKED!!! Snow up to the knees, wearing all of our ski gear, cold……..I couldn’t even enjoy my doobie…..I kept running out of breath! 🤣🤣🤣Not gonna lie bro; When we have some Snow, the Woods are just ridiculously pretty in my opinion. I mean the pics you took look like a Christmas Card. I have something like.... Over 800 pictures from the Woods I've uploaded a lot of.
I know today has been shitty roads day. 4 Wheel drive and we still slid around some. You see how by Tuesday this part of the State is getting Rain instead of Snow ? Monday the temps are supposed to be back to normal, and by Tuesday we're back above normal LOL.

Had to roll another one when I got in the house so I could enjoy it!
This weather is screwy though. Finally get enough to go skiing, but I’ve been busy and leaving for Colorado on Saturday, to go skiing.
Bro, when I get to Colorado, @DopeDaniel and @JL2G are going to have to kick me out! Lol. I would much rather live there than here. I love Michigan, but Colorado has my heart!!When it's knee high, you're basically walking on a slippery Nordic Track LOL. When you get there drag Jess and Daniel back with you.

We’re actually above 20 degrees right now, so the salt is working and melting the roads and corroding vehicles! I just had to run some meds to the daughter at school and no issues. Later when the temps drop is when it will be sketchy! What? No! Fuck that bro, drag their asses back here LOL.
By the way; Stay safe if you all head out today bro; 4 Wheel drive and we still slid a bit this morning. We were heading into town and the roads... LOL bro, it's like they weren't even trying. At least it's going to warm up next week
Yeah we have a "heat wave" coming soon. Told my Mom a bit ago, that it's time to turn the AC back on LOL. The roads are a lot better now than they were this morning for sure. I had to run back out to pick up the oldest from the bus, and it's WAY better than it was. At least you can see the concrete now haha. Apparently it's going to snow on and off for today, tonight, and tomorrow, and then Tuesday it's supposed to rain LOL.We’re actually above 20 degrees right now, so the salt is working and melting the roads and corroding vehicles! So Cal mountain sunrise yesterday
Love the old B&W pics option
I thought I did good today, but that’s epic! I Skied Beaver Creek for the first time and did 22,500ft on 43 year old shaky knees! It’s compounded more, because I live in Michigan at 800ft with “slopes” that are 300-500ft…..and I haven’t been on skis this year until I came out to Colorado. We did 19,500 at Vail yesterday. My quads are on FYYYAAAAHHHHH 🔥Today at Solitude, UT, 26,583 vertical feet. Not bad for a 71 years old with two full knee replacements! View attachment 193081
