Just a couple pics of the area I ride in during the winter months from the West and East side.It doesn't matter where the OHV area is the Sierra Buttes are always visible. The East side is by far my favorite place to play.There are lots of lakes and hills to destroy.

Ahh yes that top of the mountain feeling comes with a thumb cramp from the long ass pulls.
There is nothing like smoking a fatty up there the view is huge in every direction.
I will be out again soon this is my passion during winter.

I thought I did good today, but that’s epic! I Skied Beaver Creek for the first time and did 22,500ft on 43 year old shaky knees! It’s compounded more, because I live in Michigan at 800ft with “slopes” that are 300-500ft…..and I haven’t been on skis this year until I came out to Colorado. We did 19,500 at Vail yesterday. My body hates me!! I'm a slow learner, a little too much too soon, story of my life. Sore knees, sore hip, mush for muscles.... And I thought I was a stud. Getting old is hard when you have things that you used to do and now it is harder or not possible. Made it out by 10:00 am and three more hours of skiing, I love skiing.

Well, since the power was out AGAIN yesterday for a bit, I went out to take care of some stuff in the yard, and ended up getting some shots of the side yard that leads into the woods:


Wood stove was going but the bedroom window probably had a similar look, given the Susie Cream Cheese amount required to calm my ass down from being annoyed with DTE. Lol.

Either I need to take a class on photography, or I simply don't have a good enough camera for the things I see VS what I end up with a picture of. The main thing I can't seem to capture, are the beautiful shades of Green I see when I'm out there, and the differences between the green, and the coloration of leaf litter on the ground, which makes for very pretty contrasting coloration I can't seem to capture right.

Yep sure is . I fish off those granite rocks on the north side . The small city exists on farm and fishing industry

Love the smell of Ocean in the morning. Just start to sense a change in seasons . End of Summer . Went way too quick

I'm getting the same sense on the other side of the world; change is in the air.

It's disgusting to me how fast time goes by and how much slower I seem to be getting. Not something that makes me happy at all.

Might be getting slower but I feel like I've never been better at the things I do.

Your welcome and I couldn’t agree with your comments more . The years do fly as you age and so does the bag of bones carrying us around . I’ve often thought how life is geared in reverse . We work all our youth into middle age and then if lucky and we make it we get to retire with an old flogged out frame . Off we go then to enjoy our retirement ………… in a motor home or pensioners cruise ship or old peoples bus tours . There’ll be no downhill skiing or high performance recreational activities for us . So that’s my depressing take on life . All tongue in cheek before someone reads me the riot act 🤣.

The only cross dressing bug in existence. Has to be coz even the males are still labelled ladybugs .
Won’t be long and this will be reviewed for sure .
The males will now be called Ladyblokes instead .

Went for a hike for a couple hours this afternoon. I was so tempted to go explore this valley but it was slippery and sloppy and I had neither the footwear nor the energy by this point in the day.
