Almost but not quite a year ago for these pics. I've been checking my spots on our property and all I've found so far is a tick on the back of my neck.
There are some that found some in my county here in Michigan that was in an area that had some logging done. I believe if we can get a decent rain,
they'll start popping up.

Awesome, looks like a super tasty snack.
Just a heads up keep an eye out for ticks, been so dry, we had next to no snow. Felt one crawling up my leg today. As much as I don't like bug dope I hate those things worse. My mom said she found one on her too. Hope we get the rain they're forecasting.
Dude. We pulled 4 ticks off of us last week. All from our yard. The only 4 we've seen in over 15 years, so I'm guessing it's a bad year.?. Crazy. The first one was creepy crawling on my neck. Fuck that!

Hell yeah! That looks beautiful.

(where the hell is your fishing gear??? ;) )
Yes sir, I love it here. I don't fish much, but I was actually planning on bringing the gear and forgot it.
where did you get that t-shirt? my neighbor retired not too long ago and she loves succulents and pretty much doesn't give a flying f now that she's retired. she'd love that!!!
Hey rkymtn. Sounds perfect for her! I've had it a couple of years, but I'm pretty sure it came from TeePublic. Lots of fun shirts.
I recommend going with the super soft material when available.

Couple pics the daughter sent me from the Gas platform she’s on off our N/W coast . They argued amongst themselves as to the species being weekend scientists 🤣. Finally concluding it was a Leopard Shark . I see a different nose in each pic but hey let it be a Leopard Shark . IMG_8545.jpeg IMG_8544.jpeg

Twice last month something had these guys running.

Both times at dawn, before full light. The first time whatever was chasing stayed below my line of sight. I caught glimpses as it chased the deer across the road and up the hill my and my neighbor's house, it's friggin' steep and the herd was running scared. I couldn't tell if there was just one chaser or multiple.

The second time was a couple weeks ago, I just kinda randomly popped open the garage person door while having a sesh. Catalunk, catalunk, catalunk across the road I hear hooves, then it softens to the catathud, catathud as the deer hops the ditch and makes a b-line over a 6ft rock ridge, the same highline they took before but this time instead of staying low the chaser followed the deer. At this point, I'm fully amped, this isn't a couple coyotes, it's one animal. It's not a dog, I can feel it moving, the mass combining with sound a sheer power. The deer has been singled out, its alone, instinct is all it has now.

You guys have Wolves? They're a lot bigger than Coyotes, and singling out one critter, is a method they use for catching prey. I'm thinking Wolf mainly because I'm not sure you'd hear a large Cat.
